Card art, especially if it depicts characters, has a distinct style. Combat presented in a first person perspective is also refreshing, especially when you get attacked by the enemy. Unlike a lot of deckbuilder, a run in this game does not force you to always pick 1 route toward one direction, you're placed in more like a interconnected maze, and can decide whether you want to clear it all out (would take a while) or just focus on locating the exit. There's also a simple resource management of saving or using hashkeys for a special tool or action for map traversal.
I can't say music is memorable, it's mostly ambient. It was enjoyable, however, CPU fan constantly on max speed eventually convinced me to stop, it's too annoying when there doesn't seem to be any complex 3D maths going.
