Tried it today (05/01/2023) Runs fine till it crashes and reads this message Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x00000068
I sincerely apologize to learn of the difficulties you are encountering with the program. The error message you have provided indicates an "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" at memory address "0x00000068." Such an occurrence is a frequent programming error that typically arises when a program attempts to read from or write to a memory address for which it lacks permission to access.
This issue can be attributed to several potential causes, including:
Null or uninitialized pointers: When a program attempts to access a memory location through a null or uninitialized pointer, it results in an access violation.
Buffer overflows: An access violation may occur when a program writes more data into a buffer than it can accommodate, potentially overwriting adjacent memory.
Dereferencing wild pointers: Utilizing pointers that have not been properly assigned or have been freed can lead to an access violation.
Hardware issues: In certain instances, faulty hardware or driver-related problems can also give rise to access violations.
To resolve this issue effectively, I recommend undertaking the following steps:
Check for recent changes: Review whether any modifications to the code or system configurations have been implemented recently. If so, consider reverting those changes to ascertain if it resolves the problem.
Review the code: If you possess access to the source code, meticulously inspect the segments that could potentially trigger the access violation. Pay close attention to how pointers are used, ensuring they are appropriately initialized and do not point to invalid memory locations.
Update or reinstall drivers: In case you suspect a hardware-related problem, consider updating your drivers or reinstalling them.
Check for hardware problems: Run hardware diagnostics to confirm the absence of memory or other hardware-related issues.
Test on a different machine: Attempt to execute the program on another computer to determine if the issue is isolated to your system.
Utilize debugging tools: If you have access to a debugger, employ it to trace the program's execution and pinpoint the exact location where the access violation occurs.
Check for memory leaks: Ensure that your program is not leaking memory, as such leaks can lead to unexpected behavior.
Should you not be the developer of the program and are encountering this error with a commercial or third-party application, I strongly advise reaching out to the developer's support team for assistance. Furnish them with as much information as possible concerning the error and the actions taken before the crash.
Lastly, it is imperative to regularly back up your data, especially when dealing with an unstable program, to safeguard against potential data loss.
If you require any further clarification or assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
go to appdata->local->insurgency->saved->config->windowsclient->game and then copy paste this inside the config file: [/script/insurgency.inscoopmode] bUseVehicleInsertion=False AIDifficulty=0.5 RoundTime=900 bBots=True FriendlyBotQuota=9 SoloWaves=8 SoloReinforcementTime=4 SoloWaveIncrementOnObjectiveCapture=2 SoloEnemies=10 SoloRoundTime=600 MinimumEnemies=60 MaximumEnemies=60 MaxPlayersToScaleEnemyCount=4 AlarmDuration=60
I tried installing the operation redwood thru manual installation and opening it up on prompt. But everything was black screen. Shows that you need to subscribe to the mod itself at the mod menu in order to play it. And subscribing in a cracked game is quite impossible I suppose.
i Tried it multiple times but since they use the shitty http://mod.io system no, from what i have seen there is no real way to do it good and get it working
I think no. Only local play works. You can't even put mods because it is required to subscribe to the mod in mod menu which is impossible for cracked versions
If it makes you feel better your gun can shoot flowers and hearts! Your Grenades give out warm fuzzy hugs! Here i was thinking the player is defending innocent Iraqi's from ISIS terrorists by engaging them. You can play the other side too. If lighting people on fire and random beheadings is your thing, Then go for it! You can chant death to the infidels! As you shoot your gun! LOL!!! Video games are meant as an escape and to be fun.Not to be taken seriously! That can be dangerous.
After playing first game for a long time and downloading this to check it out two years ago, I bought it instantly on promo. Counter Strike is for kids compared to this gem, near ArmA experience.
