The game seem to always run in... Spanish?
Could not find options to change language.
Other sites also seem to be the same release.
There's language.txt in the settings folder that says 'english',
but it's ignored.
Fiddled around, still the same. I give up.

It is in portuguese, and can be changed to english if you press S and Enter.

Oh...OH! So the small square at the beginning is actually the game menu.
You use W/S to navigate and Enter to select.
