i don't know if you are referring to the fake skidrow site.. or the skidrow group. Because SKIDROW (scene group) released it, and the upload here is theirs.
NOTE: SKIDROW, as well as all scene groups never had a website. All websites using their name are fake.
NOTE 2: this release works perfectly, because it has not been labeled NUKED yet. The info is here: https://predb.me/?cats=games-pc
No, I'm referring to the actual skidrow, not the website, I don't care abt that website as I just use this one, and as you're saying it, i'm never gonna care abt it since it's not the group's website. By the way, the game doesn't actually open so idk what i'm doing wrong or whatever, but if you got any idea on how to make the game actually open i'd appreciate it. (Redownloaded, same result, game wont open, that's why I said imma wait till skidrow either fixes or anyone else cracks it lmao)
So, i never had this happen before with you guys, but on this one, my Avast triggered a malware alert, straight up shut down my daemontools when i tried opening the iso. With all the other tens of games i got here, it always cleared the virus scan, this one sadly not. I hope you get that sorted i quick, thanks for your service.
I guess you are probably not very familiar with the core of pirate, specifically SCENE GROUPS. It's okay, everyone has their first time, even me more than 10 years ago. I will be happy to guide you. You see the name of this release "ICBM Escalation-SKIDROW", it's not mine, I just re-uploaded it from SCENE, in this case the SKIDROW team (you don't need to search their website, since it's not public on the internet, websites you find are known to fake and use the names of groups at SCENE).
What is Scene? you should search the wiki and google about this, they will explain it better than me (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warez_scene). In general, the scene is decades old, certainly older than you (and me). It is completely safe. All the pirates you download from the internet, including movies, games, software,... are mostly leaked from the Scene.
When you download a game (or anything that comes from Scene) from sites like IGG, you can easily check the legitimacy of the file you downloaded. By using database sites taken from the scene, for example https://www.srrdb.com/browse/category:pc/order:date-desc/1,... You use tools like 7z, to check the file's HASH code, and match it with information from those web pages. If the hashes match, you are completely safe, and vice versa.

If this game was realistic, we could probably take out 2-3 core conspirators and put a stop to every problem in the world.
Everybody else MIGHT back down after that, it if would only be a matter of rounding up all the loose ends.

SKIDROW, as well as some other repackers who are using INNO to create the installer, are getting the same false positives. Please turn off AV. If you need more information, search google, dozens of people talk about this, for example:

...and it don't work.
