I've heard about this game. This is the game where the developer complains that Steam does not allow the game to be on the Steam website. The developers say it is not hentai, it's pure psychological horror, but Steam doesn't believe it and believes the game contains abuse, etc., which violates Steam's TOS. And the developer made a big deal about it everywhere, which I prefer to believe that Steam's reaction is correct because other similar types of games, like "Sex, Please," a game that is vividly depicted about human sacrifice, like what you see in the darksite's red room, are allowed to be on Steam. There are tons of femdom VR games that are even worse, as the girl bites off your dick or forcing an ugly old mutant to blow your job, etc. is also allowed on Steam. I mean, true, the censorship of steam is getting tighter, but the game like "sex, please", is not that old. It was last year, I believe. So maybe this game is some next-level shit.
Edit: I've seen the full walkthrough on youtube. It wasn't that bad. I think it's even less gross than "Sex, Please." So either the Steam really tightened the control, or the game like "Sex, Please" really deceived the Steam employee, because on the surface it looks like an LGBT+ porn game, but it is akin to the red room if you progress in the game. Well, this horse game was a psychological horror from the beginning, so the Steam employee may not have played through the entire game. But based on the first 10 to 15 minutes of the playtime and decide "this game is banned on steam", the game like "Sex, Please" is really deceiving because it really looks like an LGBT porn game. Whilst the psychological horror of this game is on minute one.
It also could have been that the final release of this horse game's had already toned down the abuse factor to appease the steam, so maybe the original game was more disgusting, and the steam decided "enough is enough". But anyway, we can never know.
So the game is launched without a Steam version. I mean, I think the developer should just turn this game into a hentai game instead, since they are not allowed to be on Steam anyway.
One thing I have to point out is that the game of "sex, please" involves having sex with demons or imaginary beings, even though they may be highly disfigured, which can cause psychological horror. This game may contain beastility or zoophilia, so maybe that's the reason it got banned? So maybe it was not about the human abuse, is about the animal abuse, that's a different topic altogether.
Maybe Steam just doesn't want another front war with PETA. After the existing war with the Feminist group and the child protection group
I mean, this game is about horses, so, like furry lover may say, equine, caprine, bovine, feline, canine, cervid, leporine. Equine is usually the top one no matter who you ask, mares or stallions, so I kind of understand why steam is nervious about it,
It was flagged for a scene with a child riding on a child horse. Horses are nude humans in this game. To my knowledge the dev raised a censorship stink on social media, after people sided with steam that a child riding a naked child is justified the supposedly made an edit. Steam decided to not bother re-reviewing it,in my opinion due to the devs pretending to not know why valve said no potentially to drum up sympathetic support.
I wish some of these games had like a gif or clip to gameplay as the pictures don't show a whole lot, OR the pictures are super deceptive and show this beautiful anime and in reality it is a crappy 2d game lol...BECAUSE HOLY SHT this game looks DARK AF and the pic's don't give it any justice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYewjNYxV-8&t=44s
