Actually that's not a nude mod or sum. Spoiler alert though, at some point of the game hornet get captured by some random bug and her cape and nail got taken away by the guard of that place. So that is actually in the game and it's not a mod

So save location for the pirated version is located in "%USERPROFILE%/AppData/LocalLow/Team Cherry/Hollow Knight Silksong/default"
Once you buy the game on steam, open it and it'll create a folder separate folder in the "Hollow Knight Silksong" folder consisting of numbers, just copy/paste the files from the "default" folder into that and your save will show back up on steam.
9 years wait its over fam , lets sink out teeth in it. Judging by the amount of time it took the average player to 100% complete the first game, if you want to find every secret and beat every optional boss in Hollow Knight Silksong, you're most likely looking at sinking around 100 hours.+lots n lots of deaths hhh.
i thought the original game was nothing special, just a fun little indie game but the fans (specially the crazy 1s) turned it into something else! whether it was a good thing or bad thing i dont know (as long as it didnt reach undertale levels of madness)

Just an FYI for people this version didn't fix the cook boss disappearing for me.
A newer version 1.0.28561 was pushed out a few hours after this and I was able to clear the boss even while spamming attacks (which was the assumed reason in the community that it bugged out).
Thanks for the heads-up, but I think the problem is on your end. I just downloaded this version, and while keeping the original game, booted it up and it loaded my save without any issues.
If I had to guess, I think it might have something to do with you "uninstalling" the previous version (and not just deleting the game folder). The save file for Silksong resides here on Windows:
C:\Users[Your Windows Username]\AppData\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knight Silksong
While uninstalling the game shouldn't normally remove the save files, you better backup the save folder of the game you're playing periodically, especially before updating. At least that's what I do. In your case, apparently uninstalling the game has also removed that save folder.
It was, I downloaded the FLT version off megaupload, did a full uninstall of 1.0, then installed this updated v1.0.28497 one (well I called it dragged because it doesn't have an installer) and saves gone. Was the save of the older version in the game's directory? Because I don't see a file that supposedly holds the save, I heard it's called userX in Appdata\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knight Silksong, I see no userX there
You must hate Unreal Engine 5 then because those will crash your system after baking it hot enough to fry eggs.
Kidding aside, your computer likely has some problem that you don't know of. Maybe the hardware has some incompatibility issues. Youre running on non-standard hardware like ARM chips. Youre forcing computers that are deliberately sabotaged to not run games like Chromebooks. Youre missing prerequisites that the game uses because youre on Windows 7.
I can even run it on linux(I use arch btw), your pc must be wild to get crash. If u got crash on Unreal then it's something can talk about the game, but Unity? nah only AAA game will crash
Idk what issues you are facing right now but I managed to make this work perfectly (no lags) on a mac machine with crossover (VM). If your native windows doesn't even work, it might be your pc's issue.

any one else having controller issues? im using dual sense and right stick sensitivity is high so my character looks down lot( ive used multiple controller and verified i dont have stick drift with a gamepad tester) , and when in speaking vendors i sometimes cant move up or down on the menus. switching to bluetooth helped for like 5-10 mins but then it happened again.
If you have steam installed, add the game to it as a non steam game and enable steaminput, that fixed all the issues I was experiencing with controllers

The FLT uninstaller in fact only does 5 deletions which are:
Desktop Shortcut
Start Menu Shortcut
2x Registry Entries
Game Install Folder
It has no code to target your appdata folder.

There are alot of factors on why it would crash.
Make a .txt named "steam_appid.txt" from the Game directory and put the GameID of the game which is "1030300"

Yes, stores have achievements, but that is technically a separate thing.
The game shows in-game achievements that you got in the menu and in the settings you can turn on "show achievements when you earn them"
