if you want to play it i suggest GZdoom or LZdoom or source port you like, its the best way to play it, i personally use lzdoom for my crappy pc, but if ya got better play it on GZDOOM for best graphics !
For those who asked, no, it's not a remaster by Nightdive studios, with real new cool features, etc. It's just like a more convenient setup by GOG, with Dosbox. So, yeah, using Gzdoom with the original WAD files is a much better option.
the only thing you need for this its to copy the wad file, then delete everything and download gzdoom if you have a good machine or lzdoom who is more for toasters zandronum its if you are interested for multiplayer but heretic servers are totally dead you will only find doom 2 multiplayer modes
Please explain. I have GZDoom 4.5.0. I downloaded the Project Brutality repository (.zip) file. I need to download some IWAD. What to download? What is the best choice for you?
OK. Thanks for ZDL. More useful for so many files. If I understand this correctly: GZDoom is idSoftware's revamped engine, Project Brutality is DOOM's revamped?
ummm dude gzdoom solved that issue long time ago i dunno why they do GOG versions since gzdoom made this game playable for any machines and zandronum its the same with multiplayer added but its pretty much dead

I miss these times when games had such a thing as key feature.
best doom/doom2/heretic/hexen/strife mod so far
practically the only universal gameplay mod existent
and download gzdoom if you have a good machine or lzdoom who is more for toasters
zandronum its if you are interested for multiplayer but heretic servers are totally dead you will only find doom 2 multiplayer modes

and use zdl who is in the same site where you downloaded gzdoom

If I understand this correctly:
GZDoom is idSoftware's revamped engine,
Project Brutality is DOOM's revamped?
kind of pointless thought unless they include gzdoom and zandronum
i dunno why they do GOG versions since gzdoom made this game playable for any machines and zandronum its the same with multiplayer added but its pretty much dead
Anyways, it works with GZDoom
