I don't know about this one. it feels like it could be the best horror game of the year and a MUST BUY for horror fans BUT it's so frustratingly hard, that I will probably delete it very soon. sad that devs always do that :-/ also the dodge mechanic is basicly useless, when there is more than one enemy around. really sad
yup and I have deleted it. dodging does not work, enemies can still attack you while dodging. even dark souls 3 was fair when it came to dodging and I really loved that game. if they put in a difficulty setting, I might come back to this and even buy it but as it is right now, even basic enemies ruin the fun for me.
It was ironic, it is barely possible to distinguish something in that blue spot that is seen in the screenshot. Now with high contrast it improves but very little.
Kinda a weird place to post this but... yes? There's a lot of them because they're popular. That's what happens when you have a site that actually fills requests.
IGG had something to say about that a year ago. http://disq.us/p/1n0c551 I mean, basically this site tries to have the biggest library and accomplishes that by filling user requests. Given how many people like them (gauging by the amount of requests for them), it only makes sense that they show up here. On top of that, they're ridiculously easy to source from other locations, so he usually doesn't even have to pay for them to get them up here, turning them into a high margin source of income for the site, which allows him to buy more and grow more. Everybody wins, right? IGG probably does not play them himself, but he's certainly in the business of making money off them. Wouldn't have it any other way.
Nope. I visit this site in a very controlled manner so that my real IP and identity don't get revealed. I wouldn't compromise my outer identity talking elsewhere.
You refer to IGG as 'he' so I'm guessing he's a guy.
What does 'IGG' stand for anyway?
Is this the site owned by one guy or a group?
How does igg-games make profit? p.s. Sorry for taking hours to reply and I followed that link but the comment section won't load up for some reason (I really don't like game :I ... its probably because I'm Jamaican).
IGG is how we refer to the individual that runs the site. As far as I know, IGG is a guy. I believe it stands for "Install Guide Games", which is kinda an absurd name, but what can you do? One guy owns and operates the site. His Disqus account is "http://IGG-Games.com (Administrator)". The moderation staff are just users of the site who stepped up as far as I know. The bluemediafiles interstitial links and the pop ad windows on any given page are the site's source of revenue. Last I heard, he spends about half of it buying games people request. He also pays for the hosting/bandwidth with it. He tends to buy games that are cheap, highly reviewed, or in high demand. The better the reviews/demand, the more he's willing to pay. If he can find it elsewhere, he'll usually do that instead.
You got the right idea there. One of the main reason why ecchi, eroge, hentai or dating sims in general are so so popular is because people are just too busy to find love in the real life. In Japan for example, a typical 'salarymen' work hours is about 12 to 13 hours per day, 6 days a week. So it's about 72 to 78 hours a week. Yes they are literally working themself to the death(and this also one of the reason for high suicide rate in Japan). So you can imagine how hard it is for them to find free time to socialize with others outside of work. So it's not uncommon for them to resort in something more accessible, like dating sims. Or for those who prefer quick stuff, ecchi, hentai eroge and the like.
That seems to be a particularly myopic view. I know a lot of happily married women who enjoy trashy romance novels. I know a lot of happily married guys who enjoy eroges. Entertainment is something everybody enjoys and many people find enjoyment in fiction, sexual or otherwise. I find it unlikely that the kinda delusional sap who lives only for his eroge waifu is more than a tiny sliver of the population of people who enjoy eroge.
Not especially. I enjoy well written fiction, sexual or not. Most eroge are not well written fiction. There are a few that I've greatly enjoyed over the years, but as a genre I find it to frequently fall quite short of the mark. On paper it's a fantastic idea: choose your own adventure story with music, voices, and facial expressions to improve the experience. In practice... rarely well executed.
Indeed it does. Gonna try it, PC allowing that is. Edit: Welp buggy as hell and video settings are just idiotic (protip: cutting off the edges is not changing resolution folks). Perhaps I'll try again if this game gets out of the herp-derp stage of development.
uhmm you probably have a better computer than i. try doing the lowest resolution, it just cuts the screen off for me. but uhmmm i dunno I didn't pay a thousand for a PC so uhmmm could just be on my on my end or the fact its in like .0.0.234. Shrug.
i'll try later if i recall to try it XD, yeah i've got an i7 6700hq, a gtx 960m and 16gb ram, this is the first decent laptop i get since i was born lol...before i had a HP tower which was running on potatos
that's a big problem with russian etc game devs. they CAN make good games but usually the translations are so bad that it feels like you are playing a shit game. english isn't my first language but I think, if you want to sell a game internationally, you have to learn proper english first.
The coarse language isn't what I'd call "eastern european" so much as "trying to look cool" and of course failing. A properly timed f-bomb can do wonders for the story, but too much can water it down so it loses any impact it may have otherwise had.
After you finished the tutorial, then switch back to 1.0.1.9(can skip the tutorial)
It's v1.0.1.9c now.
