I played it for a few hours and I believe the major flaw is the story telling. Your life is turned upside down when your father, for whatever personal reason, decides to divulge the truth he has kept hidden for the past 18 years! No, there's no event preceding the reveal which should have compelled him to do so, apart from having an angry teenager daughter. But, by a strange coincidence, strange things have begun to happen in your otherwise normal life since then. It kinda put me off.
