3/5 without a walkthrough. With a walkthrough, it is probably worth 4/5.
The maze is really difficult, and once you unlock new tools or press buttons in another zone, you often have to backtrack to previously explored areas. It can be frustrating, you can easily die if you don't follow a walkthrough. Eg: you might get stuck in one part of the maze or die from a landmine hidden in a corner, which could lead to frustration and possibly rage quitting.
Regarding Haydee 3, I don't see much change from Haydee 2. You can essentially port all the mods from Haydee 2 into Haydee 3, and it works just fine. The entire game feels more like a DLC for Haydee 2, yet the price has increased. Like many games I've played recently, it seems more like a DLC rather than a sequel, but it costs more for essentially the same content.
I would suggest holding off on playing this game until you can find a full walkthrough online. From my own experience, not only is the maze extremely difficult, but reaching a good ending is nearly impossible without following a guide. You could spend ten hours trying to find the solution to the ending and still get stuck.
If there is a walkthrough available: Don't forget to set the in-game sensor to "off" in the settings. This doesn’t affect the character model, but does uncensor the images.
I also advise you to crank up the gamma in the video settings. The Haydee game is usually very dark, and adjusting the gamma can help reduce jump scares.
You can change the in-game view to see either a robot face or a human face, based on your preference. As for the NSFW characters. If you own Haydee 2 already, you can copy the mod to Haydee 3, and it works just fine.
I just want to point out that if you are really, really stuck and there isn't yet to be a full walkthrough guide on how to do things step by step. You can open the game's edit and change the level by yourself, eg, delete Obstacles.
First, make a shortcut of the exe and then put " -edith" to open the level editor Eg, "Haydee.3\Game\SteamGame.exe" -edith

I have a review of this game in a bottom, you can check it out if you want to see my opinion.
does this have a bug or something right at the start after i get the lockpick i cant find anywhere to progress looked up a video and it seems im supposed to use the lockpick on the suitecase just outside of the first save room but for me the lockpick doesnt work on that suitcase restarted game several times no luck reinstalled game .. no luck am i just bugged ?
You are not bugged. I use this version to complete the game already. You have to put the lockpick in the quick use section and then when you aim at the suitcase press the quick use button.
To me, it seems like you are confused with the lock pick and screwdriver. You need the screwdriver, but not necessarily lockpicks.
TBH, you don't have to use any lockpick in the softcore at all. There is only ammo in suitcases. However, for hardcore mode, in the final boss fight, you almost need every single bullet, do not waste any bullet. Otherwise, you'll be soft locked in the final boss for not enough ammo.
huh i guess im either missing something or bugged . i do know how to use items as iv played previous games there is a red keycard behind a closed door that i cant open right after getting the lockpick .. saw a video which showed that he used the lockpick to open the case but for me the lockpick doesnt work on that same case for whatever reason
and yea icons dont exactly tell what the item is i only knew that its a lockpick from the video i saw
Agreed, but you can change in game if it was a robo face or human face. In the story line of previous 2 games, it was clear that it is a human under a full mask instead of a robot. The clone technology is very advanced. So, in the end, it is still being treated like a disposable robot.
I haven't progressed very far in the third game , but I guess the developer want to make a game that is not "which robot model is better, but which human gene variant is better" type of test.
dev actually think it is the level design or the story telling that sells these copies. TBH without the nature of men it won't even be qualified to have a chance to be a sequence. i don't mind the ambition of trying make it to be more than what it was, but you have to consider the initial drive of what the majority who bought this game in the first place and make some changes on them.
the tutorial, the item layout really suck iam not going to comit memory to remember every tiny detail location. Like the first two game you need walkthrough to know where to go and what to do or dont and stuck running in circle and the game its full of trap from climping and mine in the corner if you die you have to redo to the last time you save the game. Dont bother to reply white knight not going to read it.
