'Unparalleled depth' is a joke. I played the beta version which was nearly complete. There's barely anything to do, the conversations with npcs which I assume is there 'build trust and relationships' is just you selecting subjects for them to talk about and not responding to. And you can't enter barely any of the houses, such depth! I can't see that this would be much different in this version, but i'll try it.
Same, I played it some time ago(maybe a year ago), and it was extremely barebones, with barren lands, mute npcs I couldn't interact with, and it had no quests nor storyline whatsoever. Apparently, there's much more content now, and I'm reading that the storyline was actually "locked" by the developer in the beta versions, to not spoil anything. Anyway, maybe it's worth a second try.🤔
Yep, 'unparalleled depth' of not being able to talk to most of the 'UNIQUE NPCS" :Z I had the impression the beta was near complete, i'll give it a go again atleast.
Nope it isnt, you had to put in the "beta branch" a few days back... i dont know if the Version is already on the stable branch. you should look in the steam forums for it but if you have to activate it, click right on your game in you steam library, then click on beta, and then take "beta" but i think its already out now, so you dont have to acivate it. i will look a little later Edit. yes it looks like its out of EA so you have not to activate the beta branch. you can play it full now... so now you have much content in it... it is a nice funny game
just spotted your comment on youtube 😉 i kinda like the stop animation style they used here too. but not sure what to make of the gameplay. pretty strange intro area. checking it out anyhow to see for myself. (especially since daymare is boring the hell out of me)
Yeah, I think lots of people appreciate the animation. The game feels a bit "dead" to me, it's hard to describe.🤔 But well, there are so many open-world RPGs I'd like to go back to, though! And they're all better, I think. Gothic 2 and 3, Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines, The Witcher 3, Elex...
same here. and skyrim, if i can ever find the time. 😢 so, managed to get some way in. still don't get the fox thing. 🤷 it is a little lifeless, as you say. and no challenge so far. might even call it childish if it weren't for the mildly mature references. still, probably nice for some people to pick away at for a few free minutes at a time, being low commitment and all.
