this is the first time it happen to me, downloaded 14 parts of it and when you try to open the setup i got notif E:/ Contains virus and something'' bad for my pc, so how do i fix it?

Actually, a lot of people are on the opposite, they want only the newest added title instead of a full collection, because some people downloaded previous cracked version, which does not contain Halo 3. And now they have to download the whole thing all over again, so I'm still waiting for the last 2 games, then I will download it.

I did it! i managed to get Lan multiplayer working. You need 1) Hamachi (or similar) 2)Repack from HOODLUM 3)Old repack from CODEX (without H3) on another PC 4)Copy buildtag.txt from HOODLUM repack to the CODEX repacked game folder (so you make the games think they are same versions even they arent). 5)Launch, in settings/network: switch from XBOX Live to LAN. Now, you can play together. You should see each other at right. Join the second player. Probably it will work with 2 CODEX repacks (you can change your name in .../MCC/.../SteamEmu.ini, but i didnt managed to change name in HOODLUm repack, and that probably prevents playing together on 2 HOODLUM repacks). Anyway, you wont be able to play H3 multiplayer. Still better than nothing.
I did the Hoodlum/Codex method and only Reach works. That sucks can't figure it out, really want to do coop in halo CE. Also changing names with two codex repacks didn't work either.
I actually found something, i had old version (with up to Halo 2) but it was Codex repack. And then i was able to se each other trough Lan (And Hamachi) in the game, except, when i wanted to connect, it said, that we have different game versions (whats actually true). But when i am trying the same with 2 Hoodlun repacks, i can't see each other. So, i believe that renaming one of the hoodlums to something different would work. (Because when the game sees 2hoodlums, it thinks they are the same player). I tried changing the ID in appdata/.../Hoodlum, it didnt work, probably because it was Steam ID, but we are searching for XBOX live gamertag. I searched in various .dll and .exe files (in hex) for "Hoodlum", but it seems encrypted. The second way i think could work Is to make the old halo 2 codex repack appearing as the newest version. Or to found non-hoodlum repack of the current version of the game.
Is there a problem to download for direct download in America? I know there is a problem if i download something with torrent, but what I don't know is if i cand download with any host page. thx
Uhhhhh no, Halo 4 is part of the collection so they are not right, TWO more games for the complete collection. The fuck do you mean Halo 4 is not Halo? then what is it if not Halo?
thats the sad part about our pirate-style my lad, you'll come to learn soon enough that you'll have to redownload the entire game should you want whatever new has come out, there is no such thing as 'getting specifics' in our way of life.
Yeah thats why im tryna get the crack without having to reinstall it entirely... Although I did check the "Apply crack" thing when installing it... so unless that didnt work it should be cracked
According to various fourms, you can buy it separately but when you do, you download the MCC as a "launcher" to play the game. so yeah basically like DLC

Fair point. However I already owned all of it on the console. Plus ODST. I'm not paying another 40 bucks for games I already have. Only thing that I see it's worth buying is Halo 2 due to the new graphical improvements.
