This game's steam_api64.dll is not working, but if you go to another game and port that game's steam_api64.dll to Hades II's Ship folder, you will be able to run Hades II !!
Ya know, just because the game released with more content than Hades doesn't mean that it's close to 1.0 at all. My bet is that 1.0 will release in about 2 years max.
I don't know about that. With how quickly they got into early access after the technical test, suggests that they didn't find alot of problems with the game. Only error I came across was the "minimum requirements" and after fixing that the game has been smooth with no problems whatsoever. Granted some might run into some problems. Their main focus now is on completing their roadmap which I don't think would take up to to years. Early 2025 is my guess so at least a year from now.

Well Hades really is in my eyes Top Notch,every time you die, you still have a lot of conversations/lore to get,and so good. This game falls into Hack and Slash Rogue-Lite with Meta-Progression. and is "Iso"- Perspective(Birds eye?).I know Games, but are mostly 2d side-scrolling View(i recommend watching gameplay first for all the games on YT) ,like: Astral Ascent Good story,its challenging at first(as usual)but the more you unlock,the better.Very enjoyable and you have versatile characters (4 different classes/type),with their own Stories/Agenda. Dead Cells Very Good but watch gameplay first,because it can be hard Spiritfall is also not bad Cult of the Lamb,this one is very funny,with very funny sounds,hahahaπ Rogue Legacy 2 (the first one is not bad,but part 2 is quite good). Ravenswatch(Early Access) looks promising Enter the Gungeon ,nice weapons Skul the Hero Slayer ,also quite nice Ember Knights ,CO-OP BlazBlue Entropy Effect,also very nice and playable on easy Have a Nice Death ,funny ,you play Mister Death,hahahah
If you want more,i advice to use Steams search,on steam-page. Just type Roguelite as example. Hope you find more Games you have fun withπ€

It's based because it's a damn good game and there is zero relevant controversy about it. Unless you're a snowflake who can't handle characters being changed
The old characters look the exact same as they did in the first game. The new characters have the same artstyle and design as the previous ones. No one complained about "ugly characters" in the first game, makes no sense to do so now. The only reason people complain is because they have nothing better to do with their lives. They are LITERALLY as bad as said group of people.
Early Access but the game has SO MUCH content more so than Hades 1. After this recent update, if you haven't played it yet, it'll be sure to keep you occupied for a long time maybe even until 1.0. The game's just missing a true end to the story, achievements and few polishes and tweaks in some areas.
As a person who never played Hades before, I love this game sm. Anyway, I have a question: if I want to buy this game on steam, is there any way to transfer my saved progress to steam?
Save data should be stored there, could be transferable, not sure. They note 'DRM-free when run directly from executable." so it shouldn't be tied to the account/name/SteamID used in any Steam emulator. But idk, too lazy to check for you and buy the game. Seems possible though.

You can only use versions of adblockers that have been heaviliy stripped. Like UBlock Origin Lite.
Others wonΒ΄t work or wonΒ΄t even load.
Your only options are: A browser that still supports manifest v2. Like Thorium Browser, which is very outdated.
FireFox with a proper AdBlock Extension.
Or as mentioned something like Brave Browser which has AdBlocking integrated.

I tried opening 50 tabs hoping at least one of them would finally land me on the right place to no avail. I don't know what changed, but it's been like that for me since sunday.
Also just in Case If Your Game says "Missing File..." or it Crashes in the Middle of Gameplay or something and you Have to Like "Turn Off Antivirus" Before Extracting etc. That Means Your Computer is Automatically Deleting Important Files Which would be Annoying.
To Prevent Your Computer From Deleting Important Files, I rec This
Have a "Game" folder
Go to -> "Virus & Threat Protection"
Scroll Down to "Virus & Threat Protection Setting"
Click -> "Manage settings"
Scroll Down to "Exclusions"
Click -> "Add or remove Exclusions"
Yes -> "Add an Exclusion" -> Choose "Folder"
Navigate & Click Your "Game" folder
And Done, Close and Exit :)
Of Course ya Gotta Grab your .rar File from your "Downloads" folder and Put it in your "Game" folder and extract there. Don't "Extract Here" tho. It's just easier on Organization when You have a lot of Games, For me anyways I like to create that Extra folder just for Pics of the Game and then I delete the .rar for space.
And if Your Game says Something about Drivers "Not up to date" There's this Tool called "Driver Booster" with a Red Gear icon. Easy to Use just Turn off Brain -> Scan -> click the Update button done. All my Drivers said they were up to date, But Apparently that was a Lie, this Fixed it for me. :)
Yesterday I was trying to get the 1st part from the Fallout London.. 1 of the parts of the base game. It was from Mega Up... and I was having a big problem with it. It doesnΒ΄t work with JDownloader, and when I was trying to get it using Chrome browser, the MegaUp site kept telling me to disable the AD Block, refusing to give the download link. Then, I did it. Disabled the AD Block. And it KEPT telling me to disable the AD Block.... :( Then I tried using MicrosoftΒ΄s Edge browser, the site kept refusing to give the link. I even tried downloading the browser Opera GX, and the same problem happened.. the site teling me to disable the AD Block... :( I tried to get the file from Mega UP because other sites already had deleted the file. :(
I just delete folder with Hades warsong update and download the new unseen update and thats all. As i said the save data folder is in another place on your PC and even if you dont have game on your PC you still have your save data folder
I had the previous version (2025-03) and it worked like a charm i downloaded the latest version with the unseen update it worked for like a day and then gave me some errors saying files were corrupted tried to unzip it again found the RAR file giving corrupt errors re-downloaded twice (once re-check with the torrent and once from a direct link) and still giving me the same issue. Any solution ?
My AV is not flagging any files when extracting it just disappears from the rar file. I tried the repair archive option in WinRAR and it seemed to make it better a bit (the files reappeared in the rar file) but upon extracting there are 53 files which say corrupted in the /content/movies/1080 folder of the game and i think they don't extract. I then tried to rehash with torrent the "Rebuilt" rar file but its checks and then starts the download from the beginning like nothing is there.
When I tried to launch the game wit the Hades2.exe file it said its missing VCRUNTIME140_1.dll file. Does anyone know how to fix it? I just download and extract it, didn't touch anything else.
No, the problem was legated about the foulder \Content\GR2_Optimized. it took kinda 40 mins for that to unpack (i have a good pc so is not that the problem)
Your image is too small, I tried to look, it seems to say the name steam_api dll was not found? If so I guess your AV deleted it, temporarily disable AV or exclude this file. Then decompress again.
