Wow... that was short... and easy. I'm all in for a shmup with a permanent upgrade system, but at the end. I haven't purchased most of the stuff and still felt op. Also, I'm not that good in this genre and get easily frustrated, but here, I didn't die a single time. The game isn't bad... just easy, and it stays easy till the end... and it ends really quick. I would say, stick to "Jets'n'Guns 1&2". EDIT: Ah ok, after the credits... and a long and uninteresting scene, there is a NG+. So yay for that, I guess. ^^
