A lot of people enjoyed the "Twisted Metal" series of games (There were eight of them plus additional spinoff games) back in the '90s, 2000s and 2010s. The devs probably wanted to rekindle the fiery passion for this genre within longtime fans and probably spark the flames of interest for this genre from new fans~! Like the old saying goes, "If you build it, they will come". 😉
the twisted metal show is alright yet forgetable - that is untill towards the end when it seems that season 2 will be a direct adaptation of the game. so i am REALLY excited for season 2. ( season 1 was basically a build up to the actual game story) if you truly are a fan of the games its worth sticking with as season 2 has huge potential.
Yeah that's what I heard, I was so confused when I first heard the premise of the show. Unfortunately the channel where the show airs doesn't air in my country
