This game says its recommended to use a controller, I'm using a keyboard (and mouse but that is much worse), which is not optimal and I do not have one controller The controls itself is still very clunky using keyboard, you have 3 stances high, middle, low also you automatically guard while doing the stance, there's also a bashing mechanic it allows to guardbreak and immediately attack, attacking or guarding from a neutral stance isn't possible, there's no hud at all or indicator (even a visual one) of incoming attacks which unless you have good reflexes, the animation for attacking itself isn't helping at all, for example a jumping lower stance would hit your head right, so you'd have the reaction to guard high, nope, it hits you like it would on the leg there's roguelike campaign which you move from location to location with 3 lives/chances if you fail a location, this is very hard if not frustrating, as the odds are sometimes very well against you, the AI can sometimes be very stupid or very smart and cheaty (countering instantly you make a mistake and one hit kill you, or even reading your inputs), resulting in your defeat, the campaign also claims to let you to keep all the equipment after failing 3 times therefore restarting, yet a bug wouldn't let you keep it unless you DO NOT encounter a duel when restarting duels are randomly started at any time you end a fight, either restarting the campaign or after an encounter (this game's custom battle) and it pits you against a powerful and a very smart reading input opponent, which can be defeated by using the bash but it's not very reliable overall this game's is interesting, very good art style, unpolished animations that is connected to the combat, making it very hard 6/10 Buggy as hell, clunky controls combat and bad animation, wait for an update
