This got on my radar once I watched the steam demo. Admittedly I don't know every indie game out there but to me the core mechanics of the game is something new.
You have to be able to move your mouse cursor as if you're playing an FPS game ... while in a 2D game! You want to parry an enemy's attack? Then click on their weapon when they're about to hit. You want to throw back a grenade that's coming your way? Click on it when it's still in the air.
Very exciting, challenging and heart-pumping. I hadn't seen anything like this before.
Cool. I thought for a moment that Brandi Passante (Basically a "nobody", in terms of Hollywood celebrity status outside of the "Storage Wars" TV show, somehow snuck into the Emmys which would explain why the woman in the animated gif was giving the sideways "Victory" or "Peace" hand signs like she was able to get away with that feat.
It's kind of strange that a Hollywood celebrity would wear a common hoodie instead of a fancy outfit at the Emmys though. Thanks for the info guys!

I'm just curious - Is that an animated gif of "Brandi" from "Storage Wars"? Except for the "uni-brow", it kind of looks like her.
