So, i downloaded the update, but ingame it appears as v1.0.0b instead of v1.0.1. I don't quite think it's the right update version, but i might always be wrong tho.
A mix between tactical RPG but with card combat mechanism. The story is about invasion of the kingdom along with female protagonist. The battle music and art is also good. Thumbs up for Drix Studios. https://youtu.be/ZuLEWERINOY
Orchestrated music, full voice acting, full 3d models and tons of 2d art... This one looks suspicious as hell... The art quality/budget doesn't match the popularity. I've seen kickstarters with less going on than this fail with funding. Asset flip? Who the fuck is Drix Studios
I like Turn-based RPGs, but I can never get into them unless I decide to sacrifice a huge chunk of my life in them... because for some reason, the developers always think it's a good idea to make the combat feel so slow. Not only do you have to wait for your turn, you also have to watch characters walk/jog slowly to their targets and perform an attack with so much extra movements. Some remedy this by having a ff/skip button/setting, but still, can't they speed up the animations a bit? Just moving from tile to tile feels soooo slow. I'v seen one game that turned movement into dashes instead of jogging (you're trying to kill someone in a full frontal fight ffs, why are you jogging?), and that felt very nice. Too bad the game was still in alpha and a lot of stuff are clunky and buggy.
well Turn-based RPG's are mostly like that anyways, its a matter of preferences, as most fans of the said genre are those that are used to it, while some devs try to garner new fans by making the player more active like some of the modern Turn-based RPG's or rather even the FFV7 upcoming remake or FF15, its just the modern or newer players are not used to it branching up the mobile quasi Turn-based RPG in which you dont need to touch anyting.. just wanna ask what game are you referring to. the one thats in alpha..
My bad, it wasn't actually in Alpha, but Beta (still felt pretty buggy to me). It's also here on IGG. It's called Othercide. Some say it's like Dark Souls meets XCOM.
looks quite nice, thanks for uploading :D gona try edit: i though its like slay the spire, but nvm, moving character tile by tile takes a long time to just finish a fight :\ and also, my video card isnt enought tho.. so its quit instantly after the first fight..
