This game is okay, it's literary elements are rich and verbose, but the whole plot feels like a very slow, hard-to-navigate Give Yourself Goosebumps book. I encountered the plant guy and died within the first 10 minutes. its an okay idea and fits scholastic's motives clearly, which is to encourage reading in youth, but i prefer the older CD-ROM games that Dreamworks did with Microsoft and Bluesky. They had more action, puzzle-solving, and, yes, real voice acting. This just doesn't cut it. Goosebumps fan since I was 6, about 11 years have passed and this game just disappointed me.
