Yeah I noted a message on GOG website stating "There are some issues with launching the game via offline installers - the developers are currently working on a fix."
However, user review states;
"Don't hold your breath for any promised "fix" from the developers. This is Digital Eclipse we're talking about, who have immediately abandoned every single release on the GOG store.
This promise of a fix, given Digital Eclipse / Atari's history of bait & switch tactics, such as promising to 'fix' an 'issue' with their 'Atari 50' DLC release back in September for GOG, which, 5 months later, turned out there was never an active project to bring the much-promised DLC to the GOG store. There is zero transparency of this on the product page for Atari 50 on GOG. No updates, news or communication from the developers or publishers Just customers purchasing a game which turns out to be an incomplete and abandoned version."
So yeah, this version may be screwed. Shame as I wanted to play it on my potato laptop too.
