Yeah I'm quite old too compared to the average age on IGG. lol And this one requires good reflexes! I also love turn-based RPGs or strategy games, it's the best for old ladies like me! lol
There with ya too..in all but im not a lady myself :) , also old member of this very scene in early 90s that crack all these games for themselfs.. (heh im long gone from there but well igg for save! ..thou in old times i would kinda "burned" this site to ground for distriputing scene content that is not mean for us xD )... Then age and irl hit me hard, had to quit my passion hobby... i mean i was more hooked to be part of releasing games then playing em, just if some thing how the hell some groups just keep on goin DAILY haha! Now im more into love also with turn-based stuff, as kid i used to "HATE IT" i mean i steered way clear from, but now i can appreciate, but yeah can def see reflexes also aint like they used to be... ATLEAST Stephanie we both know, there wont STILL be stopping us from bein gamers ;) !!
One time, I saw on Youtube a grandma who was around 80 years old, and she was playing Skyrim all the time. ha ha I guess we do have hope! Well, Skyrim isn't too hard, so I guess it's possible. ha ha But yeah, as I age, I'll definitely stick more to turn-based ones like Divinity Original Sin. I have to try Baldur's Gate 3 too... And maybe I'll just go back with nostalgia to the 90s and play Jagged Alliance 2 and Fallout 2! he he The early 90s... Gee, you might be a bit older than me! I started in late-90s and I remember having fun with emulators like Snes9x and NeoRagex, listened almost exclusively to modules (what a nerd! lol), and had the pleasure to play Half-Life, Fallout, Baldur's Gate, Might and Magic 6, Moto Racer, Tomb Raider, etc. Oh I understand you used to hate turn-based. When we're very young, we prefer action! he he One of the few turn-based games I really loved as a kid was Shining Force 1 and 2 on Megadrive. (also had fun with Shining the Holy Ark and Shining Force 3 on Saturn) I played turn-based RPGs on Super Nintendo like Earthbound or Breath of Fire 2 only much later, thanks to emulators. More annoying than losing fast reflexes though, the worst part is just being too busy to play! I think I have downloaded 100+ games from IGG I didn't even try yet. ha ha
No way Steph :) JA2 and Fallout 2 are my All Time Best. If you started playing games in the late 90's you probably came in at the best time. Old games were fun (sometimes the best), but people with age and experience also become picky. I tried to come back to Fallout 2 and Jagged Alliance 2 and unfortunately over these several decades :) my perception of games has changed. Those games just got very old. But I have the best memories with them. I'll never forget the feeling of getting into the Fallout world (1 and 2). The feeling of immersion, the effects of making decisions and even taking a long time to figure out which way to go. That will never come back, of course, because those were the first games like that. Ah and Moto Racer played on a splitscreen, these are unforgettable moments :) I have the same thing with these downloaded games, as I'm sure many addicted pirates do.
Haha... im lil over 30... these times we were like 15yolds when we started, nowadays ppl who enter scene or ARE STILL part are around my age and older, well also younger who do apply to these groups.... So much has changed as yes ofc i still got some contacts to some ppl but even they dont give me some scene access nomore :P ..hehe would love to have coop run on Divinity 2 with you!! ..Animeal friend perk is ace! xD ..and yeah used to play even counter-strike up v1.6 but stopped when source came...Like Quake 3 etc UTs etc arena ones, so yeah as younger u crave for action thats fast and dont maybe have as much patience to see all the lil but meaninfull nyances in like greatly crafted turnbased / rpg stuff <- partly meanin divinity there ^_^ Also sorry for my grammatic, im not native speaker of eglish as is seen easily.
i look like 25 or less, specially if shave my beard... but my mental age i HEAR is like 13-15yo kid cause of adulthood SEVERE ADHD mostly xD ... btw all who interested in scene, i heard that darksiders is looking for new blood... so yall who LOVE TO CREATE, do things, get things done, work as a team, being part of something noone who havent been ever in scene cant even comprehend... But if you only like to leech "free games" not bein creative, dont waste both of yours times!! As in scene is NOT for mentalitys of that huge archives with kinda all games for all consoles etc, all movies.. tv.. ebook.. audiobooks <- that in 94 was just "extra" and seems scene still thikin that way.. That all benefits are secondary! ...Also i know you dont have know game craking to get in, i heard that DS familys main point for takin new ppl in are: thruth and trust, then that all get along with others on group AND gotta be super motivated... How i know all this? well i happen to know h! the one who done all their nfos and eg that installer logo etc. So all remotely interested mail them at darkstars@protonmail.com ..im glad if iv abe to help some atleast to fullfill their "dream" , i myself wont be back as too crazy irl
