im not sure whether this is an updated version or not. supposedly it is as pirated release from this page always maintain the old serial release numbers, nonetheless they usually are all are of latest updates however, this release contains interesting downloadable contents such as additional stages & outfits, also alternate characters. so i wouldn't say this is the not-updated version
this contains interesting downloanble contains eg variety outfits, additional stages & alternate characters i guess it is the latest of release but this page always seem to cloak latest updates for games as they release them without legal consent, just to assist us all (Thank you IGG Games 😍)

For those have problem with saves, try doing this as it solves mine too. Go to your game install directory, then you'll find the CPY.ini file right? open that with notepad. once opened, you'll see these things, which is: [Settings] Language=english AppID=438490 PlayerName=CPY SavePath=%%DEFAULT_CPY_DIR% SteamID=292733975847239680 all you gotta is change the save path to your folder that contains your GEB2RB save file. as for me, I decided to create a new path instead. Exp, Savepath=C:\Program Files (x86)\God Eater 2 - Rage Burst\Saves of course, I would have to create a new folder for that as well. as it hold the place for me to put the save files. That's all, hope it works for you guys and happy devouring! edit: forgot to say this, but you'll need to run the game as admin after this in order for it to work.
i have read in the comments that people are also have the same problem that im having and its that the save file wont load or it cant find the save file and i really want to play the game but their needs to be a fix for this issue with the save file. cause i see the save file in the CPY SAVE and the game cant find it.
Same problem here, I have both Rage Burst and Resurrection. My only problem is that the game doesnt seem to find or read the save files from CPY_SAVES which is where the save files are stored at. PLS FIX THIS ITS ALREADY BEEN 2 YEARS.
Help please, I downloaded it, installed it, copy and pasted the crack on the game folder. No issues so far. But then I try to run the game and an error message appears and it says " the program cannot be initiated because it's missing msvcp120.dll and msvcr120.dll . Try to reinstall the program to correct this issue" Do I really have to reinstall it? Anyone knows why is this happening or what's the best way to solve this problem?.
I keep getting broken file from part 1. I've redownload part one over and over from different source (Mega up, http://Mega.co ect) I tried anyway and it gave me error while installing. Which link do you guys download anyway? @~@
Before you read any further, this online play only work between crack game user. You wont be able to play with legit users and you need steam account to make this work. To those who wanna play online, download this game. Then try run it first to see if you can actually play this. Then, go to this website (https://zantix.wixsite.com/...) and download the Online Crack ones. The file is just only 34kb (Try using guest in Mega if you keep getting quota exceed as registered one). Extract those and place it in the game folder in c:/Program Files/God Eater 2 Rage Burst. You will need to replace some files, thats ok, just replace it. After that, try launch the game. You will get error and thengame couldn't open. Register or log in into steam first (Online Mode only, Offline mode wouldn't work). Then the game can be launch. If you want to play the game offline now, just open steam with 'network error occur', since you have no internet, and thengame still runs. I'm currently still playing and played online with my brother a lot.
The online crack is VERY underrated and not many people knows it. You can say everyday you see no one online. I'm still playing it though (just finished story 3 days ago). If you up for playing online, I'm up for it.
Judging from the comment history of this page, seems that before jan 2017, GE2RB in IGG have an older version with many download part. This version probably the CPY version (released officially on 22 January 2017) where we can play online, but need to download extra 4gb (i think). there's STEP-BY-STEP on how to play online using this game crack inside the link below. EDIT: Online Play (GE2RB CPY crack version) https://zantix.wixsite.com/english/single-post/2017/01/25/GOD-EATER-2-Rage-BurstOnlineUpdate-%E2%AC%86V1
Ah, I forgot but I actually downloaded the extra 4gbs somewhere after around 30 mins of this comment and here I am now, replying 3 months after. Thanks anyways hahaha
hello, I have trouble with this game. When I start game, the screen was black but seems the game have run proper. I'm 10 windows and the spec was fine. Pls resolve my issue thanks.
Just adding this here in case new downloaders have any questions: This download works fine, game runs flawlessly with zero issues as long as your PC can handle it. It includes all DLC available in the PSP game and it is all already active in the game from the moment you download and install it. This download does NOT allow online play. If you have any issues with black screens/game not running/opening Steam or SteamAPI errors, odds are it's something you did wrong. For issues with black screens or the game not opening properly, make sure you install the game in Windows 7 compatibility mode if you're running Windows 10 and make sure your antivirus is turned off no matter what OS you're using. For issues regarding Steam, make sure you copied the crack properly. As long as you copied the crack and replaced the correct files, and as long as your antivirus doesn't block it/try to "clean" it, you'll be able to run the game just fine as long as your computer meets the game's requirements. If anyone has any issues with the game, feel free to leave a reply on this comment and I'll try to help wherever I can.
My only problem is the save data, I found it on my documents and the folder is called CPY_SAVES. The problem is that the game doesnt seem to find it or load it whenever I try to continue the game when its in game. Its been 2 years and I still see ppl commenting on this and havent had any reply on this issue!
Can't say I've run into that issue. I've since gotten the game on Steam so I just play that, but you could try the usual fix for saves on CPY games. There should be a CPY.ini file in your game's install directory which contains the save directory, just change that to something else and place the saves there to see if that helps any.
Yeah, it did fix the black screen. Run the game in Windows 7 compatibility mode and it did run properly and now enjoying it. Guys, see this information, this might help you Specs: Ryzen 7 1800x Gskill Flare X - 2x16 Asus B350 Plus GTX 1080Ti Auros
You must have a Steam account and login in If you have Steam account but still have this problem then you probaly copied file crack wrong place. You must copy file crack in this path: C:/ Program Fles (x86) / God Eater 2 - Rage Burst
Putting this here for anyone wondering before downloading. This download includes all available DLC for the game:
Extra missions (accessed through your mission operator, though they require you to advance into a set difficulty rank by completing the game's storyline before you can actually play them. Most are difficulty 14-15)
SAO costumes, Tokyo Ghoul masks, some uniforms from an anime whose name I cannot remember for the life of me right now
The Defense Force and Lindow missions from the PSP version of God Eater 2 are already included and integrated into the game's main storyline (apparently you got them separately on the PSP somehow?). Lindow's doesn't happen until you beat the Rage Burst arc (AKA beat the game), the Defense Force story starts a little after you complete the first arc of the story. Basically, keep playing the game's story mode and you'll know when you unlock them
Omg, people. Quit whining about this game being dubbed in english. I mean, I'm an anime fan, but I don't get people's fucking obsession with everything being dubbed in Japanese over English. There are maybe 2 games in my entire life where I will say the English voices are like nails on a chalkboard, those games being Grandia on the PS1 and Arc Rise Fantasia on the Wii. Other than that, it's just stupid whining. This game is still playable, given that the comments here aren't oversaturated with issues getting it to run (for me, I've downloaded this from another source and only got a black screen. Gonna try it one more time using the one on this website, and just hope for the best). So, in short, stfu, people. Thanks for making me despise the anime fan base (Not anime. The anime fan base. I'm an anime fan too, which just makes the whole thing even more sad. Think about it. An ANIME FAN has to tell other anime fans to cool their shit about the fucking voice acting. Irony at its finest) even more than I already did.
While I agree with you, calling them out like this is hardly the right way to go about getting that point across. People like what they like, they don't like what they don't like. If someone's going to be that big of a weeb to turn away from a game just because they can't get Japanese voices even when the English voices really aren't too bad then that's their loss. A very, very stupid loss. The anime fandom is about the same as any other fandom: full of idiots. Heck there's a derogatory term created specifically for them. Personally the only English dubs off the top of my head that I don't like are the Persona 4 dub (Chie sounds WAY too old) and the Hyperdimension Neptunia series (Fun fact: Neptune's English VA is female voice 16 in this game and sounds just as cocky and annoying!). The only thing I honestly prefer in Japanese over English in GE2 are the female voices, the voice selection in GER is definitely better.
Part of this was mainly a rant as well as probably just a couple years of built-up annoyance that pretty much made me just have to post this (Along with seeing one of the comment threads on here that was saying that Japanese voices are better at conveying emotion or some bullshit. That was basically the last straw for me). And, while I agree that this likely wasn't the best way to get things across, I just felt it needed to be said, given most of what I tend to see when people are talking about anime online is that all English dubs are horrible and that subs are the only way to watch anime (the list of dubs they would tend to say are watchable are definitely not even 1% of the dubs that are watchable. It's just anime fans seem to have way too high standards nowadays). And, yeah. It is a very stupid loss. I'll admit that I've made stupid decisions that are probably just as bad (not giving western RPGs a chance, which I've started doing recently, although I have yet to get around to the ones I've installed yet), but at least I didn't bash the games constantly or the people who liked them, me just accepting I wasn't a fan at the time. To be honest, I never noticed that about Chie's voice in Persona 4, although I do see what you mean now that you point it out. But, one thing I think the voice acting should have done in the Persona series in general is drop the Japanese honorifics from their lines. It kind of made things feel a bit half-assed and like they wouldn't commit to one language (although, obviously proper nouns stay in Japanese). So, it was definitely an acquired taste for me, once I got used to it. But, I haven't played the Hyperdimension Neptunia series yet, although I do have them installed already. So, I'll probably find out about that once I get around to both of these series. But, in any case, your dubbing complaints aren't that bad, limited only to specific characters/voice actors rather than what usually tends to be the case with dubbing complaints. If only more people could be like that, I think the anime community wouldn't be that bad. Which is a shame, given I know most of my RL friends are usually pretty chill about voice acting in general, us rarely complaining unless the dub was just actually, legitimately horrible (like anything done by 4kids). It's only online where I see a lot of the idiots, something one of my best friends had to point out to me.
I know that I am replying to an old comment but you posted your rant so I guess I just say what I want too. First of all English is not my native language so when I play American games I always play then in English and not in my native language. Why? Because I always want to experience the game in the way the original director intended, not in the way the localizer think is easier for me to understand. The same goes for American movies and TV. shows. Now does this makes me a bad person?
Not necessarily, but then again, you're not the kind of gamer the rant was directed at. It was mainly aimed at people who, specifically in the anime/JRPG community, look down on localizations (specifically English ones) for just about no reason. I had seen a couple comments on this upload about how "no Otaku would ever play with an English dub," among other complaints that bore basically the same idea and people like that really get under my skin. I don't have a problem with people who just want to experience a game the way it was originally intended, but they usually aren't the people who complain about English dubs. The people who are more vocal about it are people who think that Japanese voices are the best, that English voices suck, and other elitist BS. I'll admit that my own personal preferences won't work for everyone, but I just can't stand seeing other people bash each other over something as ridiculous as this. That, and people heavily into subs and who are anti-dub act like releasing a Japanese game without dual-audio is the end of the world, when really it should be a minor complaint, unless the english dub is crap (I can note two dubs of JRPGs I have heard that I can honestly say are bad and a great many people agree on it. Other than that, everything else I've heard/seen has been passable at least).
I'm sure you;ve found your answer by now but in case others are wondering the same: As is the rule with every cracked game out there, no. You can't play online. There are methods to go about doing this though you'll need to google for those and hope you get lucky. Easiest way to play online is to purchase the game.
can someone tell me difference between God Eater Resurrection to GOD EATER 2 Rage Burst ? if i wanna try game from the start what i should test first ?
Downloaded from Google Drive, 15 parts. Downloaded, extracted and installed with no issues. Overall an excellent upload. Game installation was a little bit finnicky in that I got a weird error whenever I tried to run the setup.exe. I had to manually open the game's .iso file after mounting it and run the file as administrator (right click > run as administrator) to get it to work. Other than that I had no further errors. Game itself runs really well, stable framerate and so far no issues have presented themselves. Since there's been certain users going around spreading fear about this, no there's no virus, malware or other nasty threats included. Files were scanned with four different antivirus program upon download and after installation and all came up clean, if requested I'll gladly upload the scan logs somewhere.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Since this seems to be a topic of discussion: This game does NOT contain japanese voices, it's the english dub only. If you're one of those people whining over the fact you can't play this fairly good game simply because you can't have your uguu waifu screaming bloody murder in japanese then you will want to avoid pretty much any God Eater game on PC. That said, if you can live without the japanese voices and actually want to know what your character's saying (subtitles only cover one character at a time and there's times in battle where multiple characters are talking at once), then go ahead and give this a shot. Personally I value my gameplay mechanics and entertainment taken from that over voice acting in any game, if I wanted to listen to pretty voices and nothing else then I'd go watch a movie, or play that one Metal Gear Solid game with like a 45+ minute cutscene.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyway, the game is a watered-down Monster Hunter game with an anime style and a fairly "okay" storyline, as well as relatively interesting characters. If you're a fan of the MH series and don't have a pathetically narrow mind when it comes to voice acting it's a game well worth giving a shot. Thanks for the upload! NOTE: Any possibly offensive part of this post is not directed at any user in particular, it is simply me sharing my thoughts in general over the entire part of the gaming community that presents those attributes. If you find yourself a part of that community and are offended by my post, feel free to ignore it altogether and keep doing what you're doing. Really, to each their own and I will not waste time arguing about this with anyone. Thank you~*
need help pls, this game give me only msvcr120.dll missing and 0xc000007b error ( i download this dll and paste to system32 but stil not working, i try to paste in the game folder but still doesnt work,
Now, after these 2 games come out to PC, hope for the GE3 will come to PC as well, CHEER :)), Anyone in here is god eater fan, raise your hands UPPPPP!!! :))
There's talk of a new God Eater project being teased in late 2016. Fans are "likely to learn more about the console project in 2017". There's a teaser trailer you can look up in Google. That said, seeing how it's being teased for CONSOLES odds are we won't be seeing a PC release til sometime in 2018, unless they released it for PC alongside consoles or it got so much support they ported it to PC relatively quickly.
You mean the games will being launched on PS5!!!!! Wow I don't feel surprise because Nintendo already launch their new console called switch. I wonder if Microsoft will launch their new console too or this will be the end of XBOX legacy.
I'm not sure what console it'll be launched on. Could be a new one, could be on vita since they seem to really be milking that thing, not sure. I have no interest in getting consoles since I do all my gaming on PC so I haven't really done much research on it asides from some quick searches. That said, it wouldn't surprise me if Sony did actually go ahead and release a PS5, that joke of us having a PS21 is looking more and more real each year. Considering how power hungry Microsoft is it also wouldn't surprise me if they went ahead and released another console as well, unless they're turning their attention to PC. Overall I'm just pleasantly surprised there's God Eater games still being developed, as far as I could tell its a game series that more or less flopped with a pretty small fanbase, unlike Monster Hunter.
I afraid PC can't handle it soon because I heard their want to create VR games soon. So PlayStation 5 will be a VR games. If you live in Japan their already begin to create VR stuff. You should believe persocom (human android like chobbit) and VR stuff called NerveGear that being use in SAO (sword art online) will be real in future (0.0)
i think pc can handle it if they would make a pc version. pc specs is stronger than consoles, and i'm also looking forward to how vr will change things.. maybe when vr will be as cheap as smartphones... it will change the world lol
While I don't deny the fact that semi-sentient androids and SAO-styled VR isn't entirely impossible, I also don't believe it will actually be possible anytime within any of our lifetimes. (If we do get something like SAO, though, I hope the games and stories that result from it aren't as terrible as SAO was.) Regular VR development, though, is already advancing quite nicely with the HTC vive and PS VR and the like. That said, the games that use these systems, although incredibly impressive, are also heavily limited as to what can be done. On the subject of a God Eater VR game, it will most likely be quite different from what we're already used to. You wouldn't have the free movement you do now for one (though it would be terrifying to be able to watch an Ouroboros slowly make its way towards you). I doubt, if there is actually a third God Eater game, that they'll put all of their focus on VR. This is all speculation though and Monster Hunter is easily dominating the market GE is trying to enter, all that can be done is wait for more announcements throughout the year. Also PC is more than capable to handle VR games. It definitely has the hardware for it, and better hardware is released practically every couple of months. Not to mention that if VR does become a leading point in the gaming industry odds are it will include massive upgrades to PC hardware in addition to gaming consoles. PC's just too versatile to leave it behind.
although very unlikely, i think we can witness sao style vr mmo (although probably not as great as sao, and probably crappy AF) in our lifetime, taking my current age into consideration and the exponential speed of technological advancement, the current speed might be slow but it might double in a couple of years, like the boom of android devices out of nowhere everyone has it, if that device becomes cheaper and more efficient that is... but, at the end of the day, mine and yours are just a speculation, so yeah...
Don't get me wrong, accessible VR gaming is a really awesome idea. I had the chance to try out this Star Wars demo on the vive and it was freaking AMAZING, also terrifying in a really cool way. It is very possible that there'll be more and more games that use VR to deliver a pretty good experience, though my biggest question is about movement. So far, VR games have you standing in just one place or moving through the use of "teleporters" or "grappling hooks". I guess you could add in a controller with an analog stick for that though I can only imagine how that'd screw with your mind. Wouldn't surprise me to read stories of people standing up and running into a wall while trying to dodge something. That'd probably happen a lot with God Eater, I'd totally play it though. Still, unless there's a VR gaming boom within this or next year I'd very much rather have a third God Eater title that's more refined and readily available than a prototype VR game that may fall flat after the initial hype of "that thing is gigantic". Personally I really wish GE would rise up to MH levels of popularity since it'd lead to more games with better features, especially since I find the setting and characters far superior to those found in MH, but so far I don't see that happening. Gonna be checking around from time to time to see if there's any more updates on this rumored third game.
Where does the save file go? Continue on single isn't working Edit: Ok nvm, idk what happened but when I saved again it worked, idk what happened to the other save file tho but I see it in the Documents folder
-- Yeah, I located the save in my DOCs folder under 'CPY_Saves' though when reloading the game, it never "sees" the file. Tried a few times, it hasnt 'self fixed'. -- I had a similar issue with God Eater Resurrection. Those saves wore in my Steam Folder due to the SteamWorksFix.
I downloaded the game and played it but did they ever fix this problem? The save files are saved on CPY_Saves but the game doesn't seem to find it there. I can't load my game :(
Don't you understand? The Japanese language has more EMOTION and POWAH than stupid western gaijin languages. The Japanese are well known for being a very emotional, and emotive people.
It is worthless if you have to play with English dub, no Otaku would ever play with english dub. It is like releasing a game that still isn't cracked. True I guess you can play it with sound turned off so it's not completely the same.
I dot give a damn about no otaku or english sub or jap voices, as far as Im concerned, long as the game is available to play and I can understand the story
wow its barely a week for the previous month they release like 1 game a month maybe they're busy with the holidays but good seeing them on fire again not gonna play this game but im hoping they'll crack tales of berseria if ever
in PSP console you can import the save data from GEB to GE2 , you have to create new character but you can pick any weapon available from your GEB game
That's cause GE2 is a sequel to GEB. GE2RB is not a sequel to Resurrection its just an expansion to GE2 while Resurrection is and updated GEB. Which has added new features. As I stated before Resurrection was released after GE2RB so they apparently didn't even think about import saving at the time.
https://s.team/chat/TyVm3XP1 and i give you multiplayer fix and game links and guide you so np, we can play this game and other coop/multplayer games for free, anytime ;)

however, this release contains interesting downloadable contents such as additional stages & outfits, also alternate characters. so i wouldn't say this is the not-updated version
i guess it is the latest of release but this page always seem to cloak latest updates for games as they release them without legal consent, just to assist us all (Thank you IGG Games 😍)

all you gotta is change the save path to your folder that contains your GEB2RB save file. as for me, I decided to create a new path instead. Exp, Savepath=C:\Program Files (x86)\God Eater 2 - Rage Burst\Saves
of course, I would have to create a new folder for that as well. as it hold the place for me to put the save files.

Now does this makes me a bad person?
also is this including the dlc?
As is the rule with every cracked game out there, no. You can't play online. There are methods to go about doing this though you'll need to google for those and hope you get lucky. Easiest way to play online is to purchase the game.
Onto your issue: As it's stated on the message you're missing a DLL file, in this case it seems to be one from a Microsoft Visual C++ redist. A quick google search can give you more information. Or I guess you can also click the link below to the Microsoft support page:
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-performance/missing-msvcp120dll-file/f0a14d55-73f0-4a21-879e-1cbacf05e906?auth=1
Hope it works and you're able to play the game!
God Eater Resurrection to
GOD EATER 2 Rage Burst ? if i wanna try game from the start what i should test first ?
So I suggested everyone to try this game.

Since this seems to be a topic of discussion: This game does NOT contain japanese voices, it's the english dub only.

Anyway, the game is a watered-down Monster Hunter game with an anime style and a fairly "okay" storyline, as well as relatively interesting characters. If you're a fan of the MH series and don't have a pathetically narrow mind when it comes to voice acting it's a game well worth giving a shot. Thanks for the upload!

That said, seeing how it's being teased for CONSOLES odds are we won't be seeing a PC release til sometime in 2018, unless they released it for PC alongside consoles or it got so much support they ported it to PC relatively quickly.
Overall I'm just pleasantly surprised there's God Eater games still being developed, as far as I could tell its a game series that more or less flopped with a pretty small fanbase, unlike Monster Hunter.
pc specs is stronger than consoles, and i'm also looking forward to how vr will change things.. maybe when vr will be as cheap as smartphones... it will change the world lol
Regular VR development, though, is already advancing quite nicely with the HTC vive and PS VR and the like.
PC's just too versatile to leave it behind.
taking my current age into consideration and the exponential speed of technological advancement, the current speed might be slow but it might double in a couple of years, like the boom of android devices out of nowhere everyone has it, if that device becomes cheaper and more efficient that is...
but, at the end of the day, mine and yours are just a speculation, so yeah...
Edit: Ok nvm, idk what happened but when I saved again it worked, idk what happened to the other save file tho but I see it in the Documents folder
-- I had a similar issue with God Eater Resurrection. Those saves wore in my Steam Folder due to the SteamWorksFix.
thats y i dont watch anime with eng dub; it just wont fit. just hearing em grating my ears
VOICES FIRST, gameplay last of the last
case closed
True I guess you can play it with sound turned off so it's not completely the same.
the western version doesn't have that kind of shit, not even as DLC
yeah, all hail the publisher (NOT)
