I felt a bit lost with the way stories were told, and many chit-chat-ish dialogues did not help with engagement. (Should have cut some off or even use a mute protagonist)
Didn't have enough motivation to reach the first boss. Hard to pinpoint, but things just didn't click.
When you talk to major characters you see both portraits, but if you talk to a minor character with no portrait, your own doesn't show up. The room vs char scale is a tad bit too large, along with clunky map controls lead to early onset of aimlessness. (hard to orient oneself) The music wasn't memorable. Etc., this sort of small things.
This doesn't feel quite ready yet, even if it's not early access.
It's fairly good, albeit a little short and easy. Right up until the last ten seconds, which are completely nonsensical to everything the plot has established, and I frankly don't see how the decision-making process couldn't have been motivated purely by prejudice. It's literally bad enough to make me assume executive meddling and avoid Fireshine Games like the plague. Worth playing if you're hurting for metroidvanias, but there's definitely better entries into the genre.
Does someone got the same issue?
