so here is how to fix the "0xc000007b"-error:
In your game folder is a folder named "Redistributables"

read the Readme.txt
follow the link http://wiki.gearcity.info/doku.php?id=troubleshooting:missing64bitvcfiles
you see GearCity uses non-standard VC2013 & VC2017 Redistributables but offers alternate files, i used those -> Error gone!

This game is so old it won't run on Windows 10. Won't even run in Windows 7 compatibility mode.

Can confirm that's not true. It runs fine for me on Windows 10 and I think I'm just going to buy it considering the price and how good the game is.

Works for me too under Win10.

Very complex though, don't think i have the patience to really get into it but it doesn't look bad at all.

I have a problem and it says "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application" after I open the app. How do I fix this issue?
