I have a problem. whenever I start the game, it's just black screen, but the problem here is that it's just the screen that is black. the game works fine in the background. my monitor/screen works fine with other games. so can anyone help me here?
Doesn't work, been going through the comments trying all the solutions listed and nothing works. Yes I am running the launcher as admin and yes my PC is up to spec. Does anyone have a solution? I get to the splash screen then it crashes please help!
The game straight up won't start. I found the .exe, I've tried clicking on it normally and running it as admin, neither does anything. The game just plain won't run. Wat do?
Well I'll be damned, it worked. I didn't even bother trying the Steam launcher because usually those actually try to open up the Steam application itself. Thanks man! UPDATE: the PC port is halfassed so the devs didn't bother to tell you what the control scheme is for mouse+keyboard and the in-game icons show the Xbox buttons. The defaults are left click for shoot (obviously), right click for zoom, middle mouse for super lewd rub-down mode, and the arrow buttons (yes, the arrow buttons, not WASD) are used to change directions when the option appears onscreen. FURTHER UPDATE: holy hell this is a bad port. I got to one part where my chosen waifu was all beat up from getting attacked by a cat and falling out of a tree, so I had to patch her up. The game wanted me to snipe some demons and rub her down, and randomly it switched to showing a mouse/left click icon instead of Xbox controls....but the only thing that worked was the basic left click on the mouse. I ended up failing because I literally couldn't do anything but shoot demons (and it wanted me to rub her several times but I couldn't). It's so much easier to aim with a mouse since this is a rail shooter, but you're better off using an Xbox controller if you don't want the game to randomly screw you.

Just mess with the GG2GG2 DataStoreExData ini file, set all the values from 0 to 1, and you'll get your super expensive DLC items for free C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GalGun Double Peace\G????me\Config You'll find a ton of ini files, open the one called GG2GG2 DataStoreExData (minus the space, Steam's profanity filter gets weird otherwise)
I did that, but other than seeing a 'dominatrix' option for outfit and accessory in the Dressing Room (which have no graphics when selected, by the way), nothing else in the game changes.
I get a Bad Image message saying X3DAudio1_7.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Anyone have an idea of how to fix this?
If you haven't already fixed the problem, then all you need to do is go on google, look up a download website for that dll (type in the name of the dll) and download it. After downloading it, drag the dll file into the game's installation folder. That is the universal solution for ALL dll-related problems
it uses that much ram bc it looks very well animated, its a high quality anime look that usually is just in dating sims, with still images, for what its worth, this game is one of the most appealing looking in terms of graphics @- invinble onion, its kinda like a dating sim

Someone knows the way to unlock the "see through dlc"? They add it as dlc as a joke, but the game actually has the mode already, just have to be unlocked. Should i edit the.ini file or what i have to do?

Try redownload the game it can be bad install also try windows 7 compatibility mode. Your HDD/SSD may be bad you should check it if game still fails to start.
Reset windows OS it causeing this should fix it. Your hardware is fine nothing wrong with it and games works. So crash is cause at windows OS software level. Open gamde folder go GalGun Double Peace\GG2Game\Config there 2 file 1 DefaultSystemSettings 2 GG2SystemSettings open file look for AllowOpenGL=Fales change it to AllowOpenGL=True doing this fix all freezeing/crashing issuse but may run slower.
What folder exactly is the game located in? Don't see any .exe or so on in the root folder or any others. My antivirus is turned off, but no .exe after unzipping.

To those That want the Pheremone Z DLC ( which makes the clothes very see thru) go to the game engine folder, gg2g, then config folder, look for a file called GG2GG2DataExShop.ini and open that in notepad, and change all the values from 0 to 1, and save. the shot costs 8,000 feathers.
