Why do such cute characters have to be wasted on subpar games like this?

Those graphics remind me of good old Ys games but sadly the actual gameplay and quality is nothing like it

This game is absolutely horrendous, holy... hahahaha...
I dled it thinking it would be like Soma Bringer, but boy was I wrong. Plays like a bad flash game.
