"Steam_API_Init()" is a function that is in the "steam_api64.dll" support library file. The error is triggered and the subsequent error message that is described is being displayed because the game can't find the required function due to "steam_api64.dll" either possibly being missing from or corrupted in, the installed game's folder.
Try disabling the real time protection of your AntiVirus application [AV] and then checking the quarantine section of your AV to see whether any new files like the cracked game executable and|or any cracked support files (eg. - Support library files [".dll"s] like "steam_api64.dll" [64 bit - Mostly used in modern games], "steam_api.dll" [32 bit - Mostly used in older games] or any other support executables [".exe"s]) for the game's cracked executable that were originally located in the installed game's folder, are now being held inside.
If they are then temporarily disable the real time protection of your AV, restore each file to its original location in the installed game's folder, add each file into the exclusion list of your AV and then re-enable the real time protection of your AV.
If "steam_api64.dll" and|or "steam_api.dll" are|is not in your AV's quarantine section (i.e. - The file(s) is|are corrupt), then try downloading the latest available version of the file from the page on "DLL-Files" here for "steam_api64.dll" and|or here for "steam_api.dll" and then moving the downloaded file(s) into the installed game's folder. When asked to overwrite any file(s), click on the "Yes" button.
