DUDES... I HAVE A TOY SPACESHIP THAT LOOKS ALMOST EXACTLY LIKE THIS ONE... IF I FIND IT, I'LL SHOW HERE. What are the chances the dev also has the same old ship? MY uncle bought it for me in Los Angeles back in 1999...
It might not be the most exciting or action-packed game, but it will surely take a lot of time for people to get familiar with the most basic stuff like landing... and it's not gonna be easy since your craft isn't the most aerodynamic-efficient thing in the universe, and you'll be solely relying on your thrusters to do all the maneuvers!

Obviously the space shuttle. It also looks like Ron Cobb drawings.
When they make toys, they make them look like pop culture things that kids can recognize. And the same for videogames.
It looks pretty.
And methodical.
Relaxing but realistic.
