I'm betting that your uninstall was not entirely complete e.g something residual left behind by design such as a reg entry or somewhere down in the appdata folder; something that in any event was left on the PC by the installer specifically to cripple efforts to try again in different ways via uninstall/reinstall. Likely something still on your machine diming you out as already having been caught that first time. You'll have to try and dig for that...where ever it may be...not saying this is a fact; just an educated guess. I'm getting ready to try for the first time. We'll see if my efforts to keep it from phoning home are sufficiently diligent.
