All of the pixel remasters are based on the original versions of the games meaning that they have none of the added content that the mobile and GBA versions of the games added.
These PR games survive/improve by the modding community alone. And that's just fucked up. Square Enix would be embarrassed by this in the old days. Guess Japanese honour went the way of the dinosaur.
It's quite good actually and a better experience than the mobile port. Crisp visuals, improved audio with an orchestral soundtrack and the best translation I've seen of this game. Auto-battle is very useful for those of us who have already finished the game many times. It does not appear to have v-sync so that is annoying.
Edit: the v-sync issue is solved by changing the display to Borderless Window.
recently finished and i would say, dont bother this remaster not only has missing gba extra content and changed or censored stuff but also its a mess for port random bugs, black screens in some parts, it was real pain in the ass playing this buggy mess
just get the gba or snes version, at least the last one doesnt have changed/censored bullshit or get the previous mobile version with a world reborn mod
