Just read your post, thanks for your words :) And yes, the cracked version is broken! Shaders are all fucked up and you see it all in gameplay videos on youtube, etc.
Ok you absolute brainlet, by saying As the developer, he clarifies that he 1. developed the game and 2. is the only developer, your statement would hold true had he said "as a developer" however he stated that he is "The" developer, inferring that there is only one developer, it does not make it sound like there are multiple developers you absolute simpleton, please at least make a valid argument if you're going to bother in the first place you incompetent baboon.
as for the unity asset starter package itself, it's pretty decent. and it's very helpul in learning the basics ( it's one of the better defualt packages sold on the store ) the only issue is importing characters, a lot of the time, the rigging for animations doesn;t work right, and there's some issues with object REF errors due to how it was created. but it was never meant to be an actual game, just a starter pack to wrap your own assets and ideas around. somehting the " dev" to Farstorm clearly didnt do.
it's actually exactly that, me and another steam user found the exact unity packages for 3d action rpg starter kits and posted em on the page there , haha. https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/systems/action-rpg-starter-kit-9076 didn;t even bother to change anything, as for the character, she;s one of hundreds of anime girls for these types of games.
If you contact IGG directly, he's usually pretty good about taking games down or stopping updating them on developer request. Nothing you can do about the people who've already grabbed it, but I suppose using it as a teaser/demo if IGG stops updating it is better than doing nothing.
Well it looks like it is both kinds of suck. XD After testing this game out a bit, it really seems like a very early alpha game or just a game that sucks. I hope this game is very early alpha, but there is a lot of work needed before this ever becomes a game worth playing. The very first thing I noticed right away is the standing idle animation of the character makes very tiny steps forward when none of the keys are pressed. A character should never do that. Then I noticed the characters texture seems to be all whited out. The character's picture in the top left corner looks okay but the character model just looks way too white. When you step out of town the texture seems to be just fine. Also the buildings have a very cartoonish look to them, then I looked at other things like the trees, bushes, grass, and rocks and they don't seem to fit together. I was like "pick an art style and stick with it." XD Maybe most of it is just placeholder stuff, I don't know. Also the controls say double tap (WASD) for dodge roll... Yeah the character can't roll. XD I could point out at least 100 more wrong things with this game or things that need work on, but this isn't really the place for massive walls of text. Also I kind of agree with Domestic Wastewater. Making it a +18 game, well even if the game play isn't great, some people might buy it just for the +18 content. XD I have always wanted to make my own game. I have all the artistic skills needed, but I don't know enough about programming to make a complete game.
not necessarily. they dont always use 1.0 to mean release. some do 1.0 as first public build. and ive seen them re-use 1.0 on full release. its not 100%
Oh this is the game that has more story and thought in it's description than in the game. it's liek a dollar on steam. totally doesnt reek of an asset flip, either.
