How do you import a save from Rebirth into this installment? Do you have to use the email option, or is it possible to pull and transfer saves? Or do you just have to recreate your character from rebirth?

I think you can only use the email option. I used it, and it works fine.

No, you don't. CoG do not detect crack when you use email to save the game.
