Ok, I was doing it wrong, for others, instead of running the normal .exe run the exe with the Steam icon.

incase anyone is wondering, this is in fact the FULL game. the thing at the start that says it is the trial ver is a bug that effects the real ver too. the trial only goes upto the end of chapter 2, but you can keep playing with the igg download and the game won't stop you.

Its not working. The game doesnt let you progress passed the trial. And yes I am at the Buy Now screen.
