Hommage to early PC/Amiga,but did they ever played Flashback on Amiga/PC? I remember Flashbackยดs first scene/level in a jungle which looked quite detailed and sound made it very alive,it felt so good just to listen, but this game....bland...empty...pah ridiculous. More a insult than a "Hommage".๐คBut as C64 commodore game ok.... Beware of the Auto-Save System,it saves every new scene, which can cause some frustration like when you got damaged and enter next room/scene,it willl save. When you die, restart will be with the lost Hit Points and there is no heal, well most of the time at the first half?
Its not a bad game but also not a good "Hommage",maybe the cutscenes are somewhat enjoyable?! On the Plus/Positive-Side,ending a map leads to upgrade options, and later on Enemies can drop Powerups. It feels like a mediocre mix of Turrican and Flashback maybe?
