I expected the controls to be more responsive, so I can try to match the pace of the game. Turns out it's slow and delayed.

Really? I find response times to be instantaneous- however you do have to let animations finish before your next input

very thankful that it wasnt a direct sequel!! i thought the first game ended in a comfortable spot and im happy that the game is, for the most part, its own thing with callbacks to the first game.
had lots of fun in this game :D
