I don't usually give length reviews, but this VN deserves it so much. Major spoilers are marked beforehand. Read at your own risk. Fantastic, unique, complex characters and voice acting to boot. An amazing soundtrack - Door to Paradise is just incredible and really sets the vibe of sadness and bittersweet longing. Very well done art between the non-sexual and hentai scenes, vanilla or otherwise. Plenty of choices with various endings, good and bad. There are also a ton of mini-endings where the story can end early (usually in a bad way). A great system menu that lets you alter the type of CG depictions (if you want to avoid violence or scat). An amazing nakige by every account. Truly underrated, ClockUp makes amazing visual novels. Unfortunately, the harsh nature of their material is sometimes too much for players and they get somewhat of an unfounded bad reputation. Referencing women as keyholes was a bit jarring for me, as was the nature of their treatment in the VN. But that's the point of it all. It's supposed to jar the player and segue into the second part of the story. My first playthrough was disturbing and quite confusing (I started with Rinne since I did this blind). To be clear, this VN is not for the faint of heart. I would urge anyone who plays this to give it a chance and see it through to completion - you will not be disappointed, unless you give up. Remember, you can always turn off gore and scat scenes. This is a nakige. It will make you cry, sink your heart to rock bottom, dishearten you, and perhaps repulse you. This is the point - nakiges are tragic stories, BUT if you make the right choices you can reach a happy ending. My recommended route order: Rika > Natsuki > Rinne > Nemu > Kanae. When you need to choose "keyholes", just only pick the aforementioned girl per subsequent route. PLOT SPOILERS AHEAD The story though - holy cow. Amazing. I have NEVER seen a visual novel so cleverly drop hints about the story and characters in a way that only makes sense later on - things that you need to pay close attention to and take note of. The twist of Nemu sometimes letting down her guard emotionally, showing she cares about Keisuke, singing twinkle twinkle little star, and other small Freudian slips, was incredibly executed - I was genuinely confused why she would be doing those things when Keisuke believes that Kanae was the one who did them. Then there's her initial bad ending, where you are "killed" by Kanae and Nemu begins crying, asking why you didn't choke her to death, and that is the major revealer - she isn't the bad one. She just loves Keisuke so much that she is willing to go to these lengths to save his life and that is just beautiful, I think. Nemu's true route is the most revealing plotwise. It brings conclusion to a lot of things like Keisuke "dying" in his paradise world actually being his consciousness reset, Byakuya being the next intended "core" of the device, Natsuki being a staff at the facility, Kanae being the scientist, and Rika being another subject or assistant (I think). I personally do not believe any ending besides the True Kanae Ending (where you pick her as keyhole every time) is a good ending. Nemu's ending is the bad ending where you fail to kill her and end the simulation, and your consciousness is either purged or reset. In the other four endings, Nemu is ostracized, raped, tortured, or otherwise unable to save you, and although you live happily with the other four girls, you do so in a paradise that does not exist. For me, that is not a good ending at all. Last thing I want to cover is the title. The damn title! That was really clever of the developers - "euphoria" does not refer to sexual climax, at least not totally. It actually refers to the fake dream world of paradise - constant, perpetual euphoria according to the subconscious fantasies of the subject. When I reached this realization, it blew my mind. This is my favorite visual novel of all time, just for how well the plot is written below the surface of rapelike sexual gratification. Final verdict? 11/10 I have replayed this many times since my first run, redoing routes I have already completed, just to experience the story again. No words can describe my satisfaction with it. I highly recommend that if you have money to spare, buy it from MangaGamer and support ClockUp - they are amazing. Oh yeah. Nemu best girl <3

Idk why, but i only see the text and the choices and i only hear the music and the sounds, but that's all. No images and no voices. But why? Can someone help me with that, pls? Do i have to install a Part 4 for the media or what? 1hour later. I found it! I reinstalled the game but instead of clicking "Yes, replace existing files" i clicked on "No!" and now it works!
