While Sierra is definitely gone and won't be coming back.. Neither will their games.. Roberta and Ken Williams recently announced they are coming out of retirement to go back to designing games! They have a new one on the way coming out in the fall of this year! :)

Phantasmagoria 2, with all of it's S&M, kinkiness, sadism, and violence really made an impression on my (then) 15 year old mind. I felt vaguely guilty for playing it and was constantly looking over my shoulder to make sure that my parents hadn't wandered into the room! They probably would not have been very pleased with some of the images on the screen. Maybe it was just because I was so young at the time, but that game really imprinted itself onto my memory.

Sierra? It's been long gone. Went defunct in 2008. Not sure who owns those rights. Probably Roberta Williams herself and who knows what she has in mind with 'em.
