Looks better than that garbage "One Step From Eden" game, I really hope so anyway since battlenetwork style gameplay + roguelike is such a genius idea full of potential.
It's especially cool to see this devs having some focus on making pvp good, which is another thing battlenetwork style gameplay and deck building have a ton of potential for, instead of having some unplayable broken mess like osfe.
Can already see this game won't get nearly as much attention regardless of it being good or not, shame.
This game is like One Step From eden in terms of its design but, no ROGULIKE game , more like the game has MOVES sets like Mortal combat does, THE FEEL IS VERY DIFFERENT!
The system of the game is okay-ish (for me) to understand because the mechanic is like a fighting game ( Street fighter X/Mortal combat) style of making moves sets mix in with a MOBA/MMO RPG system of having multi skill system with cooldowns attach to them.
This is fine and dandy but if they only focus on PVP , it ment they want this game to be competitive rather for casual. They cling more on Balance than randoms in an ONLINE/pvp setting , which is fine .
OSFE is BROKEN in terms that is a RNG base card deck building game and rouge-like style like SLAY THE SPIRE but with a twist its a real time action and its fun in a casual basis because you die and you learn from it. easy to understand and hard to master. IF a game is hard to understand at first , it's a turn off for most players coming in because of barrier of entry.
the game was fun ! , both has its merits though I hope you do elaborate why OSFE is bad in its regards.
