Yeah, I very rarely bother with these made-by-one-developer games - and you can tell. because the "Developer" heading lists someone's name, rather than the name of a company - because solo developers very rarely have enough time, resources or the skillsets required (art, sound design, music, level design and so on) to make a game worth playing.
Just because you can do some programming, doesn't mean you can make a game.
