graphics wise, not really, cause it is kinda like those 2 framed animation on battle which the gameplay kinda reminds me a bit of fire emblem & yes this game is also 2d. The game is quite simple, it also has a few main systems. You watch story events, most of which are fully voiced and occasionally have accompanying CGs, (kinda like those visual novel thingy). by navigating the world http://map.you may choose from one of a few types of missions battles, characters, events and side events which in mix has serious & comedic moments(if you know a bit of Japanese & know what they are saying), Character events, (and i mean lot's of girls to choose from) rank them up, leads to a number of possible upgrades such as max life or army count new skills & additional item slots. Battles take place on a 6x3 grid, which is split into ally and enemy-controlled halves. You're allowed to place only 6 heroes from your army into your half of the field to fight the enemy. Battles are only won if one side is completely wiped out. Strategy is derived from three systems: which is, "Passive, field effects, and the Brave meter". The classes have also certain bonuses & weaknesses , where certain types of skills gain bonus damage against specific classes. But, making use of the type advantage is a bit risky, as it will give your opponent a brave meter charge, while hitting without advantage it will give your army the Brave charge. the Brave charge is needed to do any basic or ultimate skills (depending on how many it needs), if you want to survive high hp bosses or long battles. and about passive effect you can benefit from them drastically by positioning your units on the unit that has the passive block. it gives allies buffs, self-buff or debuff on enemies. Positioning a unit is equally important to get the most out of a hero's range or AoE among its skillset, especially for units with limited range like the gun type. if your into tactical rpg's then this for you, then if not, i just recommend you try playing it though
Nevermind, games works great although not sure how to use the english patch, follow instruction all the way to patching it with the jp files and when i apply the englisj one and open the game it ask me for yes or now option and seem to patch it by itself, the starting screen displays in english but when i chose any option it comes again with a yes or no option and closes no matter what i chose Since i backed up the original files i removed the englisth patch added ones and can play normal again, albeit in japanese. If someone knows how to fix it would be apreciated
I have an error while patching (udm file) and I found a workaround ! download patch from eiyuuwiki, and then rename exe file to ‰p—Y–í•PGOLD.exe , the patch MD5 check should detect the exe and other files needed for verification
For me the game work like it should be, but the problem is with translation: -there are some untranslated thing in options and describtion of them. -Difficulties when starting new game are not translated. -Talking text is not translated as far I know except names. I think that's all from my site.
Did you download an exe file? When opening the exe, did you get a rar file, or am I missing something? If the above is true, you downloaded an ad, make sure you get the correct file.
oh, nvrmd. looks like i finally dl-ed the one w/o the password. I deleted the old one since what was the use if I couldn't use it. could've sworn I used one of the links in there to download that one..
Everything is tested and scanned before being uploaded, this website is virus free. If you get a trojan, it's false positive, like explained http://igg-games.com/virus-trojan.html.
When i try to install the english patch provided and then open the game, it shows me a message multiple times and if i press yes it download something until it's finish and the n crash the game but if i press no it close the game. I need help.
This patch only translate interface/setting. Not game story/text, use VNR/Applocale if u want to translate it to eng language VNR :- http://vnr.aniclan.com
Ive done everything Vectricity recommended and yet the game still isn't working, it only starts up and shortly after an error notice in japanese with "load error" and "script error" appear one after another and the game just closes itself without even giving me a chance to start new game, what do i dooo? ;(
Could you tell me the name of the game directory? The issue you're having might have to do with special characters being used. When installing the game, I chose to name the directory "Eiyuu Senki". Unfortunately, you don't get to rename the "英雄*戦姫GOLD" folder inside of the game directory, unless you choose to edit your registry. My best solution for dealing with Japanese games is to simply run your computer under the Japanese locale. However, there are certain issues that result from this. For example, backslashes will often appear as the yen symbol, and applications that use the default system language will be in Japanese unless changes manually.
well the good news is i finally got the english version to get working, but the bad news is that turns out this game isnt fully translated yet lmao, so the text is still japanese feels bad
Extract the contents of the rar file you downloaded.
Within the folder you extracted, you will find an MDF file roughly 3.5 GB in size. Open it with 7zip or a similar program and extract the contents. Trying to mount the file instead didn't seem to work.
Double click the "英雄*戦姫GOLD" file, which is an installer, to run it. Choose next, check the box to agree to the terms or whatnot and then choose next, choose where you want the game to install to and then choose next, choose install, and then choose finish.
Run the program inside of the "update103b1_majikoi" folder. Choose yes, choose the "英雄*戦姫GOLD" folder inside of the game directory (the place you installed the game), wait for the update to finish, then choose close.
Run the program inside of the "update103c" folder and then do the same things you did in step 5.
Copy the contents of the "ESG English Interface Patch" folder to the "英雄*戦姫GOLD" folder inside of the game directory (you should see identical folders) (overwrite the existing files and folders).
Run the "英雄*戦姫GOLD" program in the game directory to play the game. Enjoy.
Follow the first 4 steps. Then. Step 5. Download the LocaleEmulator (http://pooi.moe/Locale-Emulator/). Its like old Windows AppLocale. 6. Install for current user and click the Edit Global profile list.(or click LEGUI.exe) 7. Select: Run in Japanese. Location: Japanese. (you can also choose to run it as admin or not) and click on Save. Like in the picture (sry my system is in Spanish, but you get it, right?) 8. Right click on "update103b1_majikoi" folder / 英雄*戦姫GOLD ver103b1.exe and in the shell menu select: Locale Emulator / Run in Japanese (I ran it as admin, like in the picture), it wont throw an error message, instead another screen will appear. 9. Select installation folder (default is program files one, I installed in another folder so I wont show a picture), and click ok, It will update the files, after a lil time it will finish with a 100% and you can just close that window with the x button (like in the picture). 10. Right click on "update103b1_majikoi" folder / 英雄*戦姫GOLD ver103c.exe using LocaleEmulator like before. It will update it like the previous one, 11. Open the ESG English Interface Patch folder and select all files, copy them and go the game's installation folder. Paste and rewrite the files (this will change game's the menu to english). 12.- Righ click on 英雄*戦姫GOLD.exe and select LocaleEmulator / Run in Japanese. It will run the game without problems and in English. 13.- Hope this helps you guys to play the game! and thanks to Vectricity for the instructions of how to make it playeable. Edit: I guess only the menu is in English, it seems like the other text is in japanese. Oh well, i tried :P, just ignore my post.
I'm glad it helped you. Reading the other comments, it seems you can avoid installing the LocaleEmulator if you change your local system settings to Japanese but Im not sure I'd like to do that every time I want to play. I guess both ways of doing it work, just use the one fits you the best.
it does when starting the program, it shows that message and close, doesn´t let me chose anything. i tried downloading again and reinstaling, doesn´t work.
When you start the program, it displays a message. This message should come with an option for "yes". After progressing past the message, it should prompt you for a location to apply the update to. This prompt will be automatic. If it does not appear, then unfortunately I do not know the cause.
Does running the program with Japanese locale help? If it comes down to it, skipping steps 5 and 6 shouldn't cause an issue, aside from keeping you from playing an updated version of the game.
Thx Man It Really Works Are you Guys sure have change the locale ? Its work after i change it at Settings > region >administrative languange> Change system local >japan
I can guarantee that everything works. I've successfully installed this game and run it. I have my computer locale set to Japanese, so perhaps that makes a difference.
'cause I kinda stressed out to something like 2D anymore [thanks to shit-load of Live-2D innovation]; ever since I've gotten hold to either 'https://igg-games.com/cinderella-escape-r12-free-download.html' or 'https://igg-games.com/cinderella-145717063-escape-2-revenge-free-download.html'...
