If anyone does end up enjoying the game feel free to support us by buying the game. Were a Swedish studio consisting of only two programmers where only one (Me) was working on this game. It took me a few months to make. Making VR stuff is hard and this was our first game release but were looking forward to make more games in the future. We got some great ideas we wanna get out there.
The gun is reloaded by twirling it around the trigger ring. I expect that the people who actually know something about small arms would be shaking their heads at this.
When I coded the reloading I first made the gun spin as a placeholder. But I ended up actually liking it so it got to stay. It reminded me about old cowboys movies. Then I made it look a bit nicer and added the bicycle sound as a spinning sound effect :P If I was a skilled animator it would probably have been better but I did my best ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Is it "growing hugely"? I don't see general game sites giving much attention to VR anymore. Also, the jaded among game consumers have already long looked away - and they are the ones with the most purchasing power.
I don't get it when people say it's growing especially since there has been a massive lull for a while. I will say there there are some really awesome games for it. Enough for me to create my own Glock grip for the controller
