there are a lot of games designed to run on the oculus quest and then ported to pc but still there's amazing looking games made for pc like lone echo, halflife alyx... and games converted to vr like fallout 4, skyrim and borderlands 2 are 10 x as intense in vr. If the graphics are bad it still looks like a giant figure painted by a child is coming to crush which is still scary.
halflife looks nice, but skyrim and borderland2 and stuff aren't directly made for VR so it doesn't really count in my argumnet, the only games I like for VR is VR chat and beat saber mayyyyybe, all the other ones are so horrible compared to other platform games
Already, there are very few games that use VR other than as a gadget. At 500 euros the device, we hope a little more possibilities, or even more games, especially since the ratio of good titles is currently more around 2/10, rather than 7/10. Paying half a salary to use only 1 or 2 games per year, what is the interest?
I am far from poor, and I certainly earn more than you do. But why throw your money out the window, instead of passing it on to those in need? Question of ethics, which obviously you have not yet acquired. :-P
But who told you that I download? When you have as many games in physical version, or official digital version, as I do, you can give me lessons. I have been a collector for over 35 years, and I even regularly receive game activation keys, as well as access to private Alpha and Beta, directly from the developers (independent and AAA), and this for almost 10 years. I've been in gaming since 1985, and I have probably done more for the video game industry, funding many projects, than you will be able to do in the rest of your life. With that, I'll let you go back to playing Fortnite, since according to your reasoning, you don't have the means to buy games (only through your parents' wallet a priori) since you hang out on this. site. As far as I am concerned, I will continue to manage my different communities, as I have done now for more than 20 years.

My lowend headset has resolution of 3000x1500 it's more than 1080p and yet u need 90fps to play. It's other type of gaming just like kinect or smth u either like it or not. It will probably never be mainstream faster would be doing something else.
