I genuinely have no idea what he's talking about, but the game I of itself seems kinda scuffed, as I was able to find a broken strat of "Downward strike-> grab" and goodness gracious the grabs on wake-up. I wouldn't personally recommend the game but that's only because it seems kinda broken and unpolished. And, to add against Jorge's opinion, I really like how they handled it in Celeste, by only revealing the fact that the main character (Madaline) is trans trough a picture on her desk(which is kinda hard to see) in the final cutscene of the game (which is pretty hard to reach). It's nice, elegant.

I guess it's kinda political in the way that it's making a statement against the norm, since 99,99% of wrestlers are definitely not trans. So, why making the weird choice of going against the norm? Originality? Okay, I can understand that. But it's still weird. And do you really think that most people want to play as a trans character? Alright, trans people have the right to say "I don't feel represented by straight characters", and well... The opposite is true. And again, the vast majority of people are not transgenders. So, once again, why wanting to force one specific minority to the majority? On the other hand, a very few games feature trans characters, I admit. And it's okay when there's one from time to time, like Poison in Final Fight/Street Fighter, and I always liked her. (so, think before calling me transphobic or anything) The real reason Jorge is pissed off is not because there's one trans character in this particular game. This problem started a long time ago. And now, it happens now more often, and there's clearly an agenda in recent games which feature only extremely masculine women with army haircuts, transgenders, gays, weirdos of all sorts, etc. Outer Worlds or Rage 2 are good examples. And well, lots of people are just tired to see a growing number of potentially good games being ruined by this very weird political agenda. So, Jorge has reached his tolerance limit, like many of us now. There's a limit to how much you can force the majority people to accept something/someone who is too different from them. Again, having one gay or transgender in a few games is okay. The problems arise when it becomes an ideology which is showed down people's throats, which is cultural fascism.
Well say, why shouldn't every game have a transgender character? Isn't there a good chance that there's at least a transgender character everywhere? I get not wanting to play as them, but I see so many people complaining that they just exist, lev from the last of us II for example, people complained about it. Besides, I think the representation of Trans and other minorities in games is simply not that much, and I am not a minority myself, like what's the problem of there being a Trans person in game, doesn't that translate to you having a problem with Trans people irl? Genuine question, because you seem very polite, now if that's a farce or not, I don't know.
I'll have to kind of agree, trying to add a gay or trans character in a game solely to have a character be a minority, to cross a thing off a checklist is a problem. Having a character's only defying trait be "gay" or "transgender" is a problem, badly written characters have always been a problem. But I will have to go against Jorge's two points. First, the Celeste one, I really don't think that Madeline being trans is really that bad, since she is a well written character, and he discovery of her being trans is actually really clever placed, as I have stated in my other comment. As for this game, as far as I have played and researched, none of the characters are trans, Judging by his comment he seems to think that all the characters are supposed to represent minorities (they aren't). The game has its own fair share of problems, all having to do with the gameplay.

(slightly edited cause my drunk typing errors offended me) There's nothing professional about this game. Anything that could go sideways can and will, and ALWAYS end up in hilarity. A game where you can:
lay out the referee (and most likely he'll do the same to you when you're not expecting it) and not get penalized for it.
set up a hardcore match with electric ropes and TNT scattered all over the arena.
get ganged on, but 9/10 the enemy will hit his buddy on purpose
use variations of items that have no reason to be in the ring let alone the building and lay down the pain. I mean, sure. It's very possible to sever an arm and the process, but that's not going to stop you from stunner a guy. And this is just a basics. You're going to learn that anything that has "M. Dickie" in the name is absolute nonsense... and you're going to love every minute of it... Especially his other games where you can even beat down Jesus Christ himself... No, seriously; you can tear him a new one if you want. So Sayeth the teachings of Matt Dickie...
