Every time you install a pirated game you are essentially installing a virus, at least this is the way Windows see it. So turn off your windows defender, make an exception for the folder where the game is installed, and you are ready to go. You would have to download it again if windows deleted the setup.exe
The installer keeps crashing it opens and then immediately crashes idk how to fix it this is so frustrating. I turned off my AV and everything and still the HOODLUM installer crashes...
When I try launching the setup it says that there is a potential virus or unwanted software. Is there a way to fix this? I haven't seen this problem anywhere else in the comments.
So, I've been searching through the comments and haven't found anyone complaining about a similar issue, so it's probably just that my computer is shit and I can't run the game. But just in case, the game crashes every time the loading screen shows up. Maybe the icon in the top right makes one revolution, then the game freezes and dies. Did I crack it wrong or something? Is my computer just shit? Help?
Install latest graphic card drivers, update DirectX redistributable and net framework, latter two are usually provided in game install directories as redistributables or resources folders. Update your operative system to latest, reboot, run game as administrator.
use MegaUp, it sadly has pop up ads but if you have an antivirus you should be good. you need to click on the download button twice before it let you download the real thing, if it start downloading something before that it's a virus, but as long as you don't open it should be good. honestly the best service to download from is google drive, but they often delete the files, so if google don't work use MegaUp, cause for some bizarre reason they never delete pirate game files... never.
To all the skepticals about this game - try watching Mandaloregaming's review of the previous Pathologic you'll be surprised ... It's possible to LOVE broken games like this. Just sayin'
No it doesn't i just got into the game the only thing that should be faster is opening the map and entering buildings. I have not even found any glitches and definitely no broken ones. What the hell are your specs because i have nothing that's very good. I even once the game has all its chapters and characters out to buy it. and no im not some fan boy I literally only heard of the game 4 days ago and its got me hooked.
Ryzen 5 with a 1070 Ti, SSD and 16gb of RAM at 3200MHZ. This isn't the sort of computer you'd expect to have trouble hitting 60fps on low in any game. The game is optimized like shit. I'm pulling 45 fps on average on high at 1080p. That's absurd performance. I run games twice as graphical with 3 times that FPS.
OMG THE GAME IS SO BAD IT HAS 55 FPS RATHER THAN 50000 OMFG NOOO, LEMME RATE IT 1/10 SO FUCKING UNPLAYABLE. Fyi, I'm not the retarded guy there. Enjoy your 45 fps on your low end pc.
Lol great bait mate. Your retarded peasant jokes are rather amusing. Take your retarded brony picture back to the basement you came from XD. Yes you are the retarded guy here and if you can’t understand why then lol you’re dumber than you’ve shown.
Welcome to the new gaming reality. EVERY fucking game is pushed out the door to meet some fiscal requirements. Marketing, hype, eat it up on launch day, we'll fix it later, probably. Doesn't matter if its the Unity engine or some "AAA" title like Metro Exodus. Every game today is early access. They ditched QA and we, like sheep, didn't care and are still buying these low-quality products, essentially becoming their QA staff.
I haven't bought shit yet so count me out of the sheeple group. Exodus worked pretty well IMO. Most Devs would rather save money on testers apparently and have the mass market test their games. Pretty cheap.
From what i've seen, the world seems to be as weird as the kind of Darkwood and Sunless sea, but with the dissapointing gameplay that make We Happy Few boring (which is the survival mechanic).
tinybuild games are like the indie version of bethesda they always publish bugged af released games that takes a lot of patches to be fixed which ends being forgotten for a while
there any fix?
