In those days when lion king was released, i had an agrement with a good friend of mine that when the newest game came out we would split it no matter who got it first. He stayed about 10 Km from me. He got it 1 st and i copied it from his computer on a 1.2 mb floppy drive about 15 floppies, but his floppy drive was cockide and every time i got home to copy it on my HD there was a CRC error on 1 of the floppies and after the 4 time I got it on my HD.....nearly a day to get this game........imagine, nowadays it only takes you to copy 19 Mb only a split second.......lol thats why everybody is calling Einstein a genius.
Yes and I upgrade my 486 from a 360kb floppy drive to a 1.2mb drive and the 720kb stiffy drive to a 1.44mb drive, 2mb ram video card to 4mb. My 160mb HD cost me R 1,799.00 = $ 152 us dollars, still got the price sticker on it. Competition between AMD and Intel already started from my 386 MHz CPU AMD. Even though AMD was always faster than Intel, but my 486 was Intel. One thing about Intel my cpu fan got stuck for a few times and even falls off 1 or 2 times then windows 3.11 and windows 95 later on, just freezes but the 486 chip, hot as hell was lasing forever. I started with an 80806 IBM CPU XT computer and end up 2 years ago with an I7 6gen 3.4 GHz and a GeForce GTX 970. Still got all my old PCs in working condition. My last PC AMD Razen 7 1800x is on its way and no more.
