and when the armor of you "tank" is broken you are immediately dead, large creations have a dificulty in moving and you cant really aim on your own, and flying is nearly impossible. stll Terra tech is overall better, but this game have potential i hope the devs would develop this. as well as the large naval guns in this game is a lot more menacing than that of the Terra tech one. and yes the water mechanics are really cool. its like a lite version of from the depths. but the vehicel building makes me want to kill myself.
The building mode is worse than Main Assembly. 🙃 And Main Assembly has visual programming so you can build things like spider, no wheels. 😲 From the Depths is like a 3DMAX/Maya, toooooooo hardcore for a game. Anyway TerraTech/Besiege have the most comfortable building mode which is the most important thing of this type of game. BTW flying is so hard in TerraTech, try the race game using a plane.😝
I truelly Agree Beseige and Terra tech is by far the best (atleast for non hardcore fans like me) of this genre, flying in terra tech should be simplified as well :< can't really figure out how to work out the flying settings in that game, due to how simple terra tech is some key bindeng confict with each other iirc. my main beef with Terra tech is that large tanky contraptions can barely move with tracks for movement, haltrack can fix this but it destroys the overall tank look. And the armor once the shield is broken and the armor you've place gone you die very fast. From the depths i tried building a ship and boy im not trying that one again, im planning on saving enough to buy the game just to download the workshop creations XD. And yes the building mode in this game makes me want to off myself, but gotta admit this game has better track physics and just the guns you can aim them and some of them look freking awesome, i just hope the devs would polish this.
Well, if anything, my struggle in TerraTech is in the base-building itself, as I mostly need to anchor them; investing in Hover-based base kinda solved it, but still not enough. Flying is easy (even before the intro of any propelers in 0.7x), but the weapons were somewhat lacking (they were all treated like artilerry, such as bullets requiring angles and time to reach their target). Now, if only they implement weapon grouping like in FTD, so that I don't waste all the shots in just one keystroke, instead of simply adding trivial things (like windows; who would want that). (T^T)
In FTD, I easily able to build both ships and bases of all sizes, hover and surface-based. I recently also enjoyed making tanks. I started to understand the complexity behind designing helicopters and made 2 designs based off Comanches, but still nowhere close in figuring out how planes work (especially a flying aircraft carrier).
My experience with heavy machines in TerraTech comes two solutions: reduce the mass with those electronic stuff or using bigger and more wheels. And biggest weapons really useless other than showing off, they rotate slooooow or even do not rotate at all, and by using the same space small weapons actually more efficient and flexible. And shield is never 100% block the attack even when it is fully activated.🤨Try using something with more health point (but also uglier). There is a mod can display those property(https://forum.terratechgame.com/index.php?threads/advanced-building.21231/ ). About workshop, there you go https://steamworkshopdownloader.io/ 😉
Nah, Dieselpunk isn't "just" steampunk, it's a return to the era of diesel supremacy, and then taking it further, as if diesel-based technology advanced without there being a replacement for it, which is what it shares with steampunk. Think the difference between Victorian-era and WWI/WWII-era culture and technology. Fallout is basically Dieselpunk, with some sci-fi nuclear tech tacked on, for example.

I want a MARV from C&C 3-KW with 3 cannons instead of 1.
perve noises...
Then how about Vega-PUNK?
"Dieselpunk" is just Steampunk.
Which is a legit Aesthetic.
Cyberpunk isn't going anywhere.
Ever since Bladerunner.
but cyberpunk still too far in some aspects from reality
