Is anyone else having problems downloading it. This is my second time downloading it and for some weird reason when I copy in the codex files it always crashes at start up. I am so confused sense It worked the first time I downloaded it. I tried both torrent and mega up thinking the first one was a dud. someone pleaseeeeee helppp !!!!!
Hey guys, sorry for late reply. IF you guys have downloaded by torrent as I normally do (assuming also downloading it normally is the same) and have all the files unpacked, once you're done with the set up (wherever you installed the game) FIND the Plugin folder that should be in codex- devotion_data plugins... there I'm sure you're familiar with steam_api64.dll ah yeah.. all you do copy and paste everything from the Plugin folder to the OTHER plugin folder where you installed Devotion... ONCE that's done go back to the CODEX and just copy the Devotion.exe and place it where you installed the game. You don't have to delete steam or anything. It is the full game but I believe it's the patch version meaning IF you read Chinese you won't find the reference with Winnie and the Prez

What I normally do is copy and replace the steam.api.dll to wherever they need to go ... but now I did that and steam still pops up not letting me play the game... game doesn't even show. What should I do?
What a fucking masterpiece glad this game started getting some attention since china people got mad and took it down, such an amazing narrative, told to you with the symbolism characteristic from china yet contradicting that same symbolism in a beautiful way, recommend to anyone looking for a good story to play through, plus added scares

ok after download the patch 1.0.3 and 1.0.5 i passed this point in the video but now the game fully crash right when he pick the red scarf looking thing at chinese praying part after the phone call

Oh yeah the chinese people were angry because this game insulted their government or something. I suppose the game will be re-released, but it will be heavily censored. So my opinion is download it for posterity sake. Everyone loves the 'banned' version of stuff :D
