Could it be, that there is an Anti-Piracy-Technology in this Version? I tried it 3 Times, always around 2005, my projects abduct more million dollars. Made in one game a loss of about 2 Billion Dollar(!) If this is true, this Version is more like a Wirecard-Simulator ;)
Funny that this game about game dev life is in ealy access, i am sure in this game your avatar is creating games in ea state and will never finish thoses most of time cuz this game is meh.
