To that end, I was able to find a simplified beginner's guide for learning how to play Mahjong which is clearly explained by "Alpaca Alix" who is either a teenaged girl or a young lady in her twenties, via example gameplay. See her ~18 minute YouTube video.
Once you've learned the basics of Mahjong from her video then return to this game and then have fun~!
IMHO, that young lady's video was very clear, easy to understand and comprehensive for beginners~! She spoke in a very casual tone of voice to the viewer, like how a very close friend would talk to another.
All you actually need to win is to be the first player to successfully gather four sets each comprised of three tiles (Either exactly identical tiles or sequentially numbered tiles [eg. - 1, 2, 3 or 6, 7, 8] with the same suit [eg. - Dots, sticks, Chinese characters representing numbers from 1 to 9 or numberless blank boards (She forgot the name of that suit but it's called "blank boards" translated from Chinese)] inside a given set) and one pair of exactly identically matched tiles - I just learned all of that from watching her video which also includes the mechanics of how to play the game! It demystified this game for me~!
Thank You so very much sharing the video, my friend~! ππ
See my above post for a link to a simplified, beginner's video guide (~18min) on how to play Mahjong. Once you've learned the basics then try again to play this game. Like it's been said before, "Anything worthwhile takes time.".
Interesting, it really is like Balatro mahjong but way easier to abuse and not as complicated. They give too much control in manipulating your "deck". To win this game you just want to maximize the potential number of hands that your hand can win. In poker terms, this is like having 5β 6β 7β 8β and being able to win with any β and any 4 or 9. Up to four times a game at base stats; number of hands you can win in match can be upgraded during play.

They're in the game but you'll have to play in the later rounds in order to see them on certain monster girls but remember, this is not a H-game so they're covered up for the most part (No nipple flashes). However, there are some loli pics and animations that are slightly "sexually suggestive" - Ecchi (Soft core, cute) but not Hentai (Hard core). The rest is up to your imagination.
That can also be the case, making a fully 3D-modelled character is very time-consuming, let alone creating several of them. And that animation is pretty impressive if it was made with Live2D.

Another balatro wannabe

Note:
For those desiring to play this game - You have to learn the basics (of Mahjong) first before you can jump into the "Deep end" (This game).
As Steam User "Rizy" wrote in this game's Steam Discussions pages - "It might be easier to learn the basics from another [Mahjong] game with better English and less going on, then come back and try this once you understand how to play."
