Played it and it's really boring to be honest. Not even tricked by the porn as I expect cashgrab games like this to advertise nudity in the loosest sense but the combat is what kills it as I like 2d beat em up styled games.
i ve been trying to enter the last chapter but I couldn't, i sectected the chapter, the train runing but it turns back to the first station again and again -
Well consider that just about anyone can make games now. Therefore it makes sense that the overall quality would decline. Not that I'm saying this is shit, it's just something to think about.
Ahh you are one of them.Bad for you. My comment or yours does not change the fact you are sick, an adult with child brain who stuck in the anime world.
So you say this is good game? This just proof that i said before. "Moron", whatever is that mean, just a word. But these ppl and your condition is real.
Fun indie platformer RPG from manga artist. I bought it in sale on steam and finish it with 100% achievments. There is no need to grind much to complete game. No there is no 18+ patch and it is not porn game so you guys can go play other games if you need boobs an nipples for you happiness.
I don't think the author died.... the series just died out of nowhere... Try checking Triage X, its the same author with different series with lots of big boobies + lots of gun actions.
Oh apparently I was wrong, I mistake for his illustrator Shōji Satō. I didn't know the series have 2 people behind it lol. But I don't think the series is gonna end well anyway because of the setting of the series around zombie apocalypse.
I'm guessing that IF the author still alive and the way he end the series is gonna be like typical axed shounen manga. They build a steady human colony while adapting to the surrounding zombies and the generic ending line "Their battle has just begun" or something like that XD
They end on cliffhangers to boost anticipation for the next season. Or if no next season is planned, then they do it so people will buy the manga/light novel. This has been done for ages, and it continues to be done because it has proven to work extremely effectively. However in High School Of The Dead's case, the author passed away sadly. So that's why the series didn't continue.
I know why cliffhangers are used, I'm just saying it's a real bad idea because you never know if a new season is promised because of bad ratings, studio politics or in the case of HSotD, the creator passing away.
Then you don't seem to know why cliffhangers are used. Because even if the show gets horrible rating, studio politics gets in the way or whatever the reason. The cliffhanger makes you more likely to purchase the original source (manga/light novel) which boost sales immensely. This has been done over and over and over again. Many animes end on a huge cliffhanger and don't make a season 2 on purpose because they know just how incredibly much it boosts the sales of the manga/light novel. So from a consumer standpoint, yes cliffhangers with no season 2 are annoying. But from a business standpoint, it's anything but a bad idea.
And there lies the problem; I'm looking at it from the viewers point of view while you're arguing in support of the people publishing it, which unless I would have money invested in the project, I couldn't care less about. And just to clarify, I wasn't only saying ending on a cliffhanger is a bad idea for only anime, it's a bad idea for nearly all forms of television series, not to mention movies, comics, novels and even video games. It's a risky proposition and your suggestion of not worrying about whether a series gets another season to wrap up a cliffhanger or not because they can always sell light novels or manga doesn't really help with everything outside of Japanese anime, now does it?
Even outside Japanese anime it still have benefits that outweighs the cons. Ending on a cliffhanger comes at no cost to the creator. Worst case scenario they can't do another season and people will be upset. But whether or not they had a cliffhanger and couldn't make another season doesn't matter, because the end result is still the same. And best case scenario, they have a cliffhanger and that keep the relevance and hype of the series high thus vastly improving how well it does. So there's really no reason for them not to do a cliffhanger. Once again, yes this is in argue from the business point of view. But all forms of entertainment are at their core a business meant to sell, and thus they are structured appropriately. There's a valid reason that cliffhangers are still used, it's not something random creators include just to piss people off. But looking from a viewer/reader point of view: Cliffhanger can be frustrating and bad when executed poorly. And by that I mean when the creator includes a cliffhanger without delivering on the conclusion of said cliffhanger. On the other side of the coin though, having cliffhanger is probably the single largest thing that creates discussion and anticipation. It's a great tool for motivation to the viewer/reader.
Well the problem is not the author but the settings around the series is the problem. There is no ending for zombie apocalypse -.- Their fights will just keep going and going.
I'm guessing you haven't read many apocalypse stories then? It's my favorite type of manga setting, and I can list countless of stories that end. And they end on a very good note. There is no problem with the setting, the only problem would be if the author can't execute it.
Well all the zombie apocalypse theme story that have I seen have an open ending. Where there is no specific cure/fix but they will just live on adapting to the surrounding zombie life from now on. Its probably because I watched just a small amount of zombie apocalypse story to not be able to find a proper series with a clear cut ending.....
Well, there are usually two possible endings to a zombie apocalypse story; either they a) find somewhere safe to hole up and live whatever passes for "happily ever-after" or b) they all die. Either of those endings would've been acceptable had they at least ended the series neatly, but it was left so heavy with open plot lines and a cliffhanger, it was near painful.
